Great experience! The manager came over and told me they have been working on perfecting their gluten free breading for the children sandwiches. He asked for my feedback after and seemed genuinely committed to making something that tasted like a regular chicken sandwich. I was extremely impressed! The sandwich was great and I felt fine afterwards.
Very safe. They have a large GF menu and the waitstaff are very knowledgeable. All GF items had an “allergy” flag and is brought out by a manager. I had no reaction. Food was quite salty for my taste but safety is more important and other people in my party really enjoyed the food. To each their own!
Celiac’s beware!!! I rarely write a negative review but feel compelled to do so now. Tried this restaurant because there were quite a few positive reviews. Informed the server of my celiac diagnosis as well as a shellfish allergy for my daughter. Ordered the spinach dip appetizer and adamantly made sure the server knew of our allergies. Their menu/website states that a manger will deliver the food. Someone other than our server delivered the dip with a toothpick in it indicating gluten free and he even stated “here is your gluten free, shellfish free” spinach dip. Fortunately my son noticed the rye toast wedges stuck in the dip and commented that they did not look gluten free. We asked our server, who took the dip away, discussed it with the man who had delivered it, and then returned to the table to ask if anyone had eaten any of it! 😮. My son watched to make sure that they actually made us a new one and didn’t just pull the toast out and replace it with the gf buns. Never received an apology and never saw the “manager” again. For dinner ordered the shrimp risotto. The shrimp was horribly overcooked and rubbery! Barely ate any of it. Overall the meal was quite disappointing and a lot scary! Will certainly never go back!
Long story short- operating with such little staff clearly affects their allergy practices because I started feeling sick within about 2 hours.
This was a weekly spot after my diagnosis, but unfortunately since last spring this location has gone severely down hill.
They are always short staffed and it is very slow even when hardly anyone is there. My husband and I wonder why they can’t keep any staff. I had a bad experience last spring- service was bad and food was not as good. I decided to try again tonight. They were operating with a skeleton crew. Luckily we had a reservation because they were telling walk ins it was a 45 minute wait due to short staff even though there were only about 3 other tables occupied. This has been typical our last couple visits. Our server said she was on her 6th shift in 4 days. Everyone is so nice and I’m sorry they have little staff, but I can’t trust it anymore.
Waited at the half empty bar for 30 minutes to order drinks and an appetizer. Bartender did not understand my request for a Ghostfish beer. After 10 minutes more she came back and said they didn’t have it and she would have someone check the back. We waited another 10 minutes and she didn’t come back. Would not recommend if this is their service in a half empty restaurant and bar at 8pm on a Saturday night. Yet the couple next to us came in and was served immediately. Felt a little discriminated against. See ya 110!
Good dinner. Very attentive staff. This is the second time we have eaten here. Dedicated fryer, GF menu with large selection. GF buns & desserts. As soon as we walked in, the hostess asked us if we had any food allergies. Server also asked & both the server & manager checked my food selection, b/c I have multiple allergies. Both my son & I are GF. Each of our dishes came with a pick labeled “allergies”, & the server verbally noted that the dish was prepared free of gluten, dairy, and soy. We definitely will go back.
HUGE gluten free menu. Lots of delicious options. My partner and I compared the regular and gluten free menu, and there were like 4 differences.
Food is clearly marked with an allergy flag and brought to your table by a manger.
Great dinner tonight! We started with clam chowder and calamari. Then split the fish and chips with dinner salad. We had all gluten free, my husband can eat either but said the gluten free was as good or better than other batter. The waitress said they have a rice flour batter and it was so good!
Service was great also, very busy but they handled the crowd very well. Everyone seems happy working there and that makes for a very pleasant dining experience.
I ordered the fish and chips and shaved Brussels sprouts salad and I don’t think I got sick from them so that’s good! They tested gluten free on a NIMA sensor but the margarita flatbread tested gluten found. The oven is shared and it seems like there is quite a possibility for cross contamination there. I also saw a manager take a dish of fries from a plate with a gluten sandwich and put it on a plate with a gluten free sandwich so I’m a little less confident about their protocols.. you definitely can get a gluten free meal here but you also may get sick. Seems like fried food is safer since it is all Gf.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! 110 Grill is amazing for gf and gluten eating individuals alike. Their food is phenomenal. They have a separate gluten free menu that is almost identical to their normal menu, AND they don’t charge extra for gf versions of dishes! My waitress knew to make any shared items and my items gf before even telling her. Gf/allergy safe dishes are written down in a different color when taking orders, have an allergy pick in them, and are delivered to table by management. The waitress even showed me their allergen binder which tells them the exact ingredients AND indicates allergens for every single dish on their menu, should they have any questions (rather than just relying on the chef’s memory like most restaurants do). They have dedicated gf space in the kitchen, dedicated fryer, etc.
We got the bbq chicken flatbread and margherita flatbreads as appetizers. I got the caprese chicken as my meal with mashed potatoes. The rest of my group got burgers and a tuna dish. Everyone was impressed by the food and especially impressed by how “normal” the gf flatbreads tasted. Will absolutely be back!
There were many gf selections, nice servers, clean with lots of tables. The servers and staff were very pleasant. We all enjoyed our meal.
Very good food and they were well informed about food sensitivities. Our server was only on her second day but the manager came out multiple times to answer questions and guide us through options. They were happy to adjust menu items (e.g., chicken wings without sauce which were still very tasty) and the gluten free beignets and onion strings (in dedicated fryer) were wonderful. And food allergy orders are specifically brought to the table by manager.
Huge GF menu and they have a dedicated GF fryer! They have fried pickles, french fries, calamari, fish and others. We had fish and chips amd clam chowder. Fish was crispy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside, fies were crispy and perfectly salted. Hoping to come back tomorrow to try more!
They’re always super cautious about listening to my allergies. Gluten free fried seafood is a must!
My daughter has celiac. We have eaten here many times with no issues at all!! Wish they delivered!
We experienced 110 Grill for the first time during the All Gluten Free dinner on August 25th. The safety measures taken by the entire restaurant for food allergies was incredible and the food delicious. The staff could not have been nicer to my son and I. We will definitely be going back, just as soon as we finish all of our leftovers.
We’ve eaten here several times over the last year. Gluten free menu is generous in variety. Each time server and hostess have been well informed or will check on safety of items. GF order is delivered by a manager with an Allergy marked wooden indicator. Ive had different tasty meals including fish and chips, fried calamari as well as some chicken dishes. The clam chowder was delicious. No ill effects.
