Best gluten free fried food I’ve ever had. They take gluten free very seriously. Always feel safe eating here!
Came on a busy night but had a reservation. Server was professional and patient after I spilled dressing on the floor and when we stayed past closing without realizing it. Felt pretty safe, with gluten free items marked, the server asking right away about dietary restrictions, and things coming out with a gluten free tag on them. Gluten free food was also brought out before the food with gluten. I am vegetarian so my options were more limited but the gluten free stuff our party ordered was: nachos, onion strings, fries, margherita flatbread, and beignets, chocolate tuxedo cake, and another dessert with ice cream, a brownie, and peanut butter. The food was not my favorite (the margherita flatbread for example was less like a pizza than I thought it was going to be and had a generous amount of balsamic glaze, and the beignets were more like a fried muffin than a beignet). But it was such a nice experience to eat out without worries and especially to be able to order fried items without worrying about a contaminated fryer. Definitely will go back!
Every 110 Grill I've been to had been a great experience as a celiac, or any of my friends and family with allergies. Their menu is majority gluten free, and they have a scratch kitchen so almost anything can be made gluten or allergen free upon request. Serving staff is very knowledgeable, food if flagged and brought out my a manager if there are any allergy concerns. I've never felt safer.
The GF menu looks exactly like the regular menu, so I'm guessing the majority can be made GF. I appreciated that our takeout order containers had stickers on them to bring attention to the allergens we wanted to avoid, but only 2 out of the 3 had the sticker, so we were very weary of eating the 3rd item at first. Crab Rangoon dip and tomato soup were delicious, the rest was just ok. The pizza crust was a pre-made cauliflower crust that I probably wouldn't buy for my house. The grilled cheese came in a hamburger roll, which I thought was strange. Maybe we'll try something that is not a baked good next time we're in the area. It was nice having a safe place to grab a bite while on the road.
Large variety of gf choices. I had a Cuban sandwich and Brussels sprouts. All delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try other options
I had a great experience here! Hostess asked upon entering if anyone in the party would like a gluten free menu. Anything on the menu can be made gluten free. We ended up getting gf calamari and for myself I got a gf hot honey sandwich with fries. Everything was really good!
Love that you immediately feel good when they ask if you need a gluten free menu (it’s the little things)! Sat at the bar and ordered the steak salad and a side of fries. Very good and the food was delivered by a manager with gf markers in all my food. So many options to choose from..a two sided menu! Ciders and gluten free beer also available. Defiantly a good place for someone looking for an extensive menu!
This is my go-to spot. I’ve eaten here about a dozen times since celiac positive recently and I’ve never had a problem. At the door they ask if you need a regular or gf menu, ordering out they start with asking about any allergens. Any order I’ve received has been clearly labeled with a gluten tag to denote it’s for a person with that accommodation need. The food is good, not great, but ordering with comfort/confidence goes a long way. Their member rewards are pretty solid with points for every dollar spent which pretty quickly translates to a discount on subsequent meals. Any waiter I’ve had is knowledgeable and at this point the protocols seem so baked into their culture that, as above, I feel I can order with confidence.
I don't really have much to add that hasn't been said by everyone else, I felt very safe coming here and I enjoyed my food! They asked at the hostess stand if I wanted a GF menu, and then my server (Destina! She was very nice!) also asked about food allergies. The cheeseburger I had was okay, but the sweet potato fries, lemonade, and Caeser salad were all absolutely incredible! They came out with the little allergy sticks and everything. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely be returning to this restaurant
The gluten free options were great…it was an entire separate menu, and included many of the items on the main menu. It’s a lovely atmosphere, a little loud, as these types of bar/restaurants can be. The food was decent. My burger was delicious, cooked to exactly medium rare, as I like it. The wedge salad on the other hand, was weirdly sweet and unpalatable. The sweet potato fries were crispy and perfect. Others in my party also had mixed reviews of the food.
My problem was that the service was a bit lacking. We ordered dinner at 8:30pm. They close at 10:00pm…we were done with dinner and tried to order coffee at 9:58, and they had already shut down and cleaned both the coffeemaker and the espresso machine and wouldn’t serve us coffee! I worked in the restaurant industry for many years, and this is completely unacceptable! Oddly, they did serve dessert to those in our party who wanted it.
It’s disappointing…great to find a restaurant with an extensive gluten-free menu and commitment to helping people avoid allergens (there were others in our party with lactose intolerance and an apple allergy, and they were great about it). On the other hand, the lack of basic service and feeling rushed at the end of an expensive meal means that I will never return to 110 Grill.
I came here with my sister after a long day of shopping at the mall, since it seemed to be the only GF friendly spot around. Upon entry, they ask if anyone in your party needs a GF menu (love it)! Once seated, the waitress inquired if they're any other allergies to be mindful of. She reassured GF pasta is cooked in separate pot and have dedicated fryers. The person I came with does eat gluten— it was super thoughtful that two separate people served the GF vs gluten dishes, also the GF dishes had an allergy wooden stick on it. The tomato soup and bang bang cauliflower is to die for!!! I also had the pulled pork mac & cheese, which was okay. I highly recommend the GF red velvet beignets!!! So delicious. The drinks were also amazing, would def come again if I was in the area.
About made me cry! Had fried pickles for the first time in years! Upon entry, hostess asked if anyone in our party needed a gluten free menu and after said yes, she went on to tell us that they specialize in gluten free! The menu she handed me was nearly identical to that of my friends’, except with different color font and “Gluten free” listed at the top! The BBQ chicken flatbread and fried pickles were delicious, as were the sweet potato fries! 100% recommend!
AMAZING! We will be coming here whenever we pass through, which is often! The steak and cheese was amazing, coming from a picky PA native. The garlic butter is soooo good, and the GF rolls are yummy and seem to be made in house. Melissa was great. Tea, bread, water, and even fries were refilled without even asking. The service and food are both amazing. Definitely Celiac safe from all we can tell, from dedicated fryer, to super reassuring menu, to all the right answers to questions, to a manager bringing out all GF food.
Update: years later, still amazing. Molly was our server today and was great.
Ate here twice during our Boston visit as we stayed in Weymouth and had the Cuban sandwich and garlic mashed potatoes the first visit, then the steak sandwich with the onion strings. Also had the Firecracker shrimp.
Sandwiches were phenomenal with wonderful GF buns and plenty of flavor. The onion strings were thin and had a fantastic flavor as well. Highly recommend due to the large gluten free menu.
Pretty good experience! Would definitely recommend this place for people's with celiacs. There's a fairly wide arrange of options, and I was very happy to enjoy some gluten free pasta. The food was brought to me by a manager, which hopefully means it was carefully prepared and watched in the kitchen. Plus the food itself was pretty tasty.
Have had good experiences in the past here but today ordered a burger and was served a burger with everything on it with no bun. Manager didn’t say anything when he brought out my food but when I asked why it didn’t have a bun he said they ran out with no apology. Worst service I have ever received here very disappointing
The food was great and our server Shay was on top of everything. I got the GF Cuban and it was delicious and my fiancé got the steak which he noted was on par with some of the top steak houses in Boston. Great food and great service calming atmosphere and nice people. Perfect night out.
I have been eating here for a long time because they are so gluten friendly. But last night we ordered take out and our whole meal was labeled gluten free and it was not. I was violently ill for about an hour straight. I don't know if it is a lack of help or what is going on but I will never be able to eat here again because I simply cannot trust them anymore. I ordered the 110 Cuban and am guessing that the bun was not actually gluten free.
I have also called multiple times today to speak to a manager about this and have yet to receive a call back and was hung up on abruptly by one of the hostesses. I am terribly disappointed and am disgusted by their lack of customer service after the fact.
I go here often. I love all the gluten free options and how seriously they take it. I have never once gotten sick. I can even eat fries there as they have a dedicated fryer. I love 110 Grille!
They are spot on with Celiac and gluten free!l I feel very comfortable with ordering anything in this restaurant!
Erin was an amazing waitress! Be back for sure!!
So many gluten free options! Very good with allergies. Pulled pork Mac and cheese is amazing.
Stated seperate fryer. Food is marked clearly
Very good, they can make anything on the menu gluten free and it is THE SAME PRICE!! My wife has a gluten allergynand loved it. Gluten free rolls. They make those with food allergies feel welcome.
Nice lunch today. I had the firecracker shrimp and wedge salad with steak tips. They started me out with a GF roll but it was hard as a rock. The shrimp was amazing though - spicy and full of flavor. The wedge salad was great, but the steak was a little off. It was real fatty for tips. The bartender server was fantastic!
As always, 110 Grill is a safe (literally) bet.
After asking how many people, the host asked if anyone wanted a Gluten Free menu. Basically everything at 110 Grill can be made GF and they have industry-setting standards for cross-contamination prevention, also dedicated GF fryers.
Everything we ordered was delicious and safe for me. Only note is that their GF bread is kind of sad. I forgot and ordered a grilled cheese for one of my little ones, who was unimpressed. So, avoid the GF grilled cheese, but the pastas are solid, I love the BBQ chicken salad and the sweet potato fries!
When we walk in the hostess asked if anyone in the party was gluten free. I was given a 2 page GF menu. Pretty much every regular menu item was offered GF. I had the fish tacos. I found the tortillas a bit dry but the rest of the ingredients were great. The fish was cooked perfectly, lightly breaded and fried. Next time I think I’ll just have the fish and chips. I also had the tomato soup which was wonderful. Hubby had the shrimp risotto with an apricot sauce. It was yummy. He had a Caesar salad as a side and liked it. We also had the red wine sangria which was sweet and spicy and a nice serving size.
Ordered a salad with chicken and told waitress I have celiac. My wife ordered a Caesar salad with salmon (not GF). We were sitting next to the open kitchen and I saw the manager ask the chef to switch the salmon off my salad with the chicken on her gluten salad cause they mixed up the proteins. The chef took the chicken that was touching the croutons on the salad and plopped it on my “gluten free” salad and put the gluten free allergen stick on my salad and served it to me. The manager seemed confused when I said something but they remade my salad. It was not discounted or comped on the bill, we had to ask, which they then took it off.
Be aware, if I was not sitting at that table I never would have known what happened!
