Amazing food! The staff are beyond careful and so well trained on cross contamination. Their brisket, sweet potatoes, and cheese grits are so good. I order the: SIX SHOOTER Cheese grits topped with pulled pork, coleslaw, pickles, jalapeños and 4R Signature Sauce to create the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Highly recommend if you love BBQ!

eat here often, never sick. ask for meat from the back.
the allergen list is available online. I had the turkey with sweet potato casserole and green beans. they also have gf cookies but I didn't try them.
This was my first experience at 4 Rivers, and I must say I was pretty impressed! I notified the staff that I had a gluten allergy and although it was not marked on the menu, they pulled out the nutrition facts list which indicated the items that were gluten free. Surprisingly, almost everything was gluten free! I ordered the pulled pork platter, which comes with 3 sides. They allowed me to select an additional side in place of a dinner roll / cornbread since I could not eat it. The food was delicious and the environment was pretty cool. Definitely recommend for gluten free BBQ! I’ll be back for sure!

My wife is a celiac and extremely gluten sensitive. We have eaten here weekly for months and she has never had a problem! The servers change their gloves prior to getting her food and it all works well!

Do not eat here if you are Celiac. I am non-celiac gluten intolerant but do have reactions to cross contamination. I asked the workers to change their gloves and they happily did so, which was nice. However, I ordered what they said was gluten free and immediately after felt a reaction coming on. This place is not safe from cross contamination and probably not actually gluten free.

High risk of cross-contamination!!!! They did not have a very good understanding of gluten-free or cross-contamination. The girl waiting on me gave serious attitude when I asked for side dishes from the back. I had already seen them touch bread then touch serving spoons for sides. Then they touched bread, reached into the meats, and then placed meat on a bun. They denied this when I asked for meat from the back even though she had done it right in front of me. The cashier apologized for the other staff and said it had been a long day. He comped our drinks, but I hardly ate and immediately took a Benadryl to help slow any reaction. The girl who gave me attitude also went behind the kitchen wall (I could still see her and hear her) and told everyone what I had said. I could see all their reactions and it made me very uncomfortable. I do NOT recommend eating here!
