Manager saw me struggling with looking at their online menu and regular menu to find what was gluten free, asked what my allergy was and proceeded to inform me off the top of his head what was gluten free. Great experience and everything was delicious. Felt very comfortable with choosing to eat there.
As previously mentioned, allergy info listed on the website. I've eaten here many times without issue. I choose items listed on the website that don't contain gluten. Most meats are fine as are many of the sides. No issue to find something you'll like as they have good variety. Would be good if they place gluten-free options on their direct menu or have a side menu so you don't have to check the site on the phone prior to ordering.
They don’t have gluten free marked on the menu at the restaurant but allergen info is clearly marked on their website. It’s a quick serve style place and all working the food line were GF knowledgable. I got wings and corn n cob. Manager instructed kitchen to change gloves and get wings from back to ensure we’re not handled by gloves with bread crumbs on it. All their meat and sauces are gluten free.
The chicken and brisket are safe but the ribs are NOT. The ribs are cooked with the sauce which contains gluten. The fries are marked GF on the menu but are in a shared fryer with the chicken tenders that contain gluten, so would not even be gluten friendly ! Just be sure to ask for clarification before ordering.
I looked at the menu before I go and it said there were some gluten-free options. When I got there I saw that the side dishes were all ready and I was afraid to try even the options that they said were gluten-free, as they were very close to the other options on display. I ordered a barbecue rib that was made separately and tested it at Nima and it was negative, so at least the rib they can actually make gluten-free and it was very tasty.
I told the waitress that I needed gf. A lot of the menu was gf, which was a plus. The food was just okay. I had the ribs, green beans and the beans. Ribs weren’t that great. The green beans, meh. The baked beans were the best. My kid had the collard greens. Didn’t like them. I went off of the reviews here. I wasn’t satisfied with the food but the most important thing is that I didn’t get sick.
