Server knew off the top of his head what I could have and reassured me a million time when he misspoke about something. Seemed like it was very typical to have GF/celiac patrons. Food was great! Cute place

Dedicated fryer for fries and GF buns available. We frequently get food from them and has been safe for celiac. They say buns don’t go on grill and separate toaster for GF.

Great visit! Gluten free bun is only 50 cents extra and very good! I also confirmed that there was a dedicated fryer. Great gluten free burger!

First time eating here and it went great! Nothing on the menu is marked gf but the staff was very knowledgable. Almost all items can be made gf. Gf buns were delish! I had the loaded french fries and the bacon cheddar burger. Didn’t get sick. Definitely will go back!

Knowledgeable staff, great GF burgers and fries made in dedicated fryer. We go at least once every time we visit NYC!

A great burger place! Staff are friendly and seem knowledgeable. I had a burger in a gf bun and fries which I was told were in a dedicated fryer for fries only. I’ve been there twice during our stay and have been fine each time. Only dropped one star as like most places in nyc it’s a big pricey.

I had a great experience at five napkin last night. The serving staff told me which items on the menu could be ordered GF, and there were a lot of options.

That said, I was pretty concerned when I went on this site to write my review and saw that a recent review of one of the other locations warned of cross contamination. Now I don’t know what to think. If I want go back, I'm going to grill them more on cross contamination.

Delicious gourmet burgers that are probably the best I have had! The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and you can have a gf bun and your fries are fried in a dedicated gf fryer!

Was grateful for the dedicated fryer, but it would have been nice if the Buffalo sauce was gf.

This place is HEAVEN!!! I just can't get enough!! I've been going once a week since I discovered it and never been disappointed... The staff is always very attentive and seems to be well informed on gluten sensitivity! They have a dedicated fryer for their fries, which are amazing! And their beef patties are so delicious, I wouldn't be mad if I had to eat it without a bun, which I don't because they have GF buns and I've been told by my non-gf friends that they taste just as god as their regular buns..

This rating is for the burger, which is the only thing I ever have at 5 Napkin! It is a massive, juicy, seriously delicious burger. I'm a very sensitive celiac and I've NEVER GOTTEN SICK IN THE SLIGHTEST! Huge!!! Knowledgeable wait staff, great drinks.

4th visit to 5Napkin always AWESOME. Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten on other allergies. I Love the dedicated fryer for fries (regular and sweet potatoes). My favorite burger is the 5Napkin. GF Buns for any burger. They take extra precautions in kitchen in minimize possibilities of cross contamination. A++++++

We had the most amazing burgers and fries at 5 Napkin! They have a dedicated fryer and my celiac son LOVED being able to order fries at a restaurant again. Food was amazing and staff we educated about celiac disease. They also have GF beer for the adults. Can't wait to go back next time I am in New York.

Great gluten free burger - attentive, thorough staff.

Fantastic! Waitress was very knowledgable, she asked if it was preference or allergy, and suggested their expanded GF beer selection. They have 3 GF beers (and a handful of ciders!). Burgers are great and they had GF buns (even though they're not on the menu?).

Juiciest burger & loved the skinny fries.

Turkey burger has bread crumbs. No gf chicken. If you don't eat meat, it's salad for you! Go to bare burger instead.

So great! They have gf buns and a couple of gf burger options (not all though! So ask)....the waiter I had was so knowledgeable about which menu items were gf. They have gf dressings for the salad and you can have French fries cooked in a dedicated frier! Highly recommend!

There is gluten free bread on the menu and I was assured there would be no cross contamination. I had an Impossible burger and French fries. It was good, the service was superb and best of all, I did not get sick.
