I ordered the Patty Melt with a GF bun. It was t he best GF bun (spongy and stayed together, Rich's gf buns)I had on my trip to Tennesse. ( of course on my last day!) Fruit as my side had a cool twist. Overall great experience!

Amazing food, amazing staff, and they really understand gluten free. We've been to a few locations and have never had an unpleasant experience! Best gluten free buns I've ever had :)

They have a gluten free menu with a decent selection, but nothing unusual. My husband who has celiac got the cheddar burger with a gf bun and it was good. No French fries in the gf menu- they are breaded. Got a baked potato instead.

We tried this place for the first time last night. It’s always scary trying a new place with allergies but Lisa (server) put us at ease. My husband also has an egg allergy and she knew what had that in it as well and made recommendations for substitutes. I had the patty melt with cole slaw (YES!! You can have their cole slaw) and he had the steak salad with smashed potatoes. Everything was amazing and we felt comfortable from the start.

So I had the burger and it was probably the best GF burger I’ve had at a restaurant in the 4 years since I found out I had Celiac

I had the chicken salad as a side with smashed potatoes and cinnamon apples. It was so delicious! Our waitress, Jesse, was very accommodating and sweet. I don't live nearby but if we come through TN again we will definitely stop. It was a big hit with everyone in our dinner party.

The BEST hamburger buns EVER!!!!
Today we ate for the second time at Aubrey's in Maryville, TN. The first time, a few weeks ago, the server was friendly and trained in managing GF orders. I had the Strawberry salad with grilled chicken. I always ask for olive oil with sliced lemon for dressing. I have found the less preparation involved, the less chance of xcc. Today, I ordered the same thing except with grilled tuna. The large salad came out 3-5 minutes before the tuna. The manager came over, apologized and asked if there was anything else we needed. The tuna arrived shortly after and was delicious. I was assured by the server that it was definitely GF. When we got our bill, we were surprised that the charge for my entire meal had been removed! I am so use to delays and redos on GF meals that we didn't really think much of the delay. Husband loved his burger too and the service was excellent. They seem to take GF seriously! We will return!

I got a GF grilled chicken salad. It was very good, however, staff was not friendly.
Love their food and never been sick! Revising my review - not sure if there is new management or what but the last three times my family and I ate there we were not thrilled. The lettuce was old, they got our takeout order wrong and even seemed confused about what was gluten free, and the last time there was a bug in the salad. This is so uncharacteristic of Aubrey's - I hope they can get it together soon...really miss the old Aubrey's!
I got the grilled chicken platter with sauteed spinach an mashed potatoes. It was all very good..the chicken was a little on the plain side but with sauce was really good.
There is zero SAFE handling of gluten allergies or celiac disease. The management also has no awareness of what gluten is or even if it is in the chili (which it isn’t). My best friend (gf as well as am I) has been working for the company for a short while. This location isn’t safe for those who are extremely sensitive to gluten or those who can not tolerate any exposure. I had quit eating at Aubrey’s two years ago because of feeling sick after having food that came from their gluten sensitive menu. Now I understand why. Just sharing knowledge my gf buddies! Also, if you’re ordering burgers, they use the same toppings used for assembling all burgers. Hence, massive cross contamination happening with no regard.

Served my salad with croutons! They remade the salad and I order the grilled tuna sandwich. Everything was good and I did not get sick but I probably won’t be back. It shows they don’t train their serves to be more cautious with their GF customers.

I eat GF at Aubreys on a regular basis and have never had an issue. They have a GF menu. I always order grilled chicken tenders (with honey mustard sauce for dipping) and a loaded baked potato from the Kids section of the GF menu. Very good and filling. Be sure to tell your server that you are GF and ask them to write it on your ticket.
