Good safety in food prep. Great breakfast. Dtr had gluten free Udis toast and scrambled eggs
Excellent service and separate GF menu. We had fennel sausage and caramelized onion pizza which was delicious. My son also had a double decker burger and he said it was one of his top 3 in VA Beach! Excellent staff and service too. Owner greeted us with soup and chip samplers since it was our first time there.
I loved this restaurant! I ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was delicious, and the GF pepperoni pizza, had a great meal here!

Seafood pasta was soooo good. Waiters were knowledgeable.
There is a gluten free menu with delicious choices. Unfortunately the cook did not read the order and gave me regular food. I checked the receipt, it was written as gluten free. I looked after I was sick all that night and next day and my pasta was supposed to be fusseli not linguine. The service was great.
We dropped the truck off across the street for tire rotation so walked over here for breakfast. The gluten free selection (at least for breakfast) was very limited. I opted for a traditional 2 egg breakfast with an English muffin. Looked fresh baked and tasted pretty good. A bit thicker than I prefer personally, but tasted better than it looked. The bacon tasted like old grease, but the potatoes were great. 😋 My boyfriend enjoyed the same meal with sourdough toast.

Got take out for dinner at this location. A full GF menu for dinner. (Breakfast /brunch at another location was a combined menu. ). As soon as I mentioned having celiac, it was clear the server knew what I was talking about and said she would notify the kitchen. Food was great. Am excited to go back and try the Mac n cheese and lava cake. Second time I have eaten at this restaurant (two different locations) and had safe meals. Feel very comfortable with their protocol and knowledge.
I got the French onion soup and and bacon Mac and cheese. Both were so good! Celiac for years and felt super comfortable with the meals. Visited twice in the last month.

update: grinder sandwiches have very little meat and not worth the high price. Manager never called me back when I wanted to address it.
I was diagnosed two weeks ago, so this is a whole world for me. I found The Baker’s Crust on this app and I cannot tell you how happy I am with my experience. Our waiter, Austin, brought me the gluten-free menu as soon as I told him my needs and was very accommodating to them. Because it was our first time at the restaurant, the manager brought us complimentary apps - something they do for first timers. The manager presented me with a beautiful gluten-free salad (the wine country salad) that was amazingly delicious. The cheeseburger I ordered was as good as it was huge. I would highly recommend The Baker’s Crust!
The staff is very knowledgeable regarding gluten free diet. Menu has several options for gluten free table made from their farm to table produce. Gluten free pizza delicious. Chocolate lava cake very creamy ❤
Favorite breakfast place in VB Pizza, sandwiches, burgers
I am celiac and so is my mom. We have eaten here 3x and no reaction. Burgers and pizza are really good. Staff was knowledgeable and food was brought out on different colored plates and by manager.
Older reviews are a bit out of date now. The staff seems much more knowledgeable of gluten intolerance now. The establishment has a dedicated gluten free menu and all gluten free dishes come on a black plate (regular come on white). Every time we've gone, the manager personally brings out the gluten free meals. The only thing is that they don't have a separate oven for pizzas, so order those at your own risk.

Based off the fact I'm currently praying to the porcelain God, I'd say this is NOT a Celiac safe place to eat. I had breakfast there. No GF menu but the waiter said everything in the omelette section was safe. False. Don't chance it.
a dissapointment, was our choice for dinner based on the menu and the offering of pizza. got to the restaurant, asked for a gluten free menu and sat, ordered drinks and made our choices. it was at the point of ordering that the waitress informed us that they did not have any pizza shells. huge dissapointment. and no dedicated frier so could not have fries with the 2nd choice of a burger. not worth the 10 minute drive from the beach.
The GF pizza was very good. They don't make the GF crust themselves, but whoever makes it does a fantastic job.
Speaking for their service, I was sadly disappointed. Food was very slow and apology insincere.
Wonderful restaurant. They had a separate GF menu with good options. Both GF and non-GF family members were ecstatic with our food. If we ever come back to Va Beach, we'll definitely come back here. High praise.

Awesome place for breakfast or pizza. We ate there for breakfast. Udi"s bread and there substituted hash browns with fruit. I was not impressed with sandwiches as there is only small meat and same with salads. They have many gluten free pizzas and though no dairy free cheese you are allowed to bring in dairy free cheese or buy the gluten free crust for just 4.00 ! All this and they also have 15% military discount on Mondays!

Underwhelming. Overcooked, overly small burger with a bag of chips was not worth $16.
This is one of the restaurants that my Celiac husband and I will eat at semi-regularly. The gf items aren't extensive, but they do seem to have a reasonably knowledgeable staff, and my husband typically gets the gf pizza, which he says is okay. Flavor is really good, but the crust is a bit soggy.
Plenty of GF options here, including a lava cake! The pizza was delicious, even cold the next day for breakfast 🤣 The cheese and tomato soup is also just so delicious and comforting. The menu is marked with all their options that can be made GF, making it far less of a hassle. The staff is super nice and easy to talk to regarding allergies. Overall, an excellent experience and great food!
I ordered the GF burger with a gf bun and a side of veggies. I always identify my gluten allergy. I have never been so sick after eating at a restaurant.
Lots of GF options and manager had family members who were celiac so was very familiar and reassuring with GF precautions
