Outstanding food and service. So great to find a place that can accommodate Celiac and gluten lovers without issue. Really friendly staff and the fish was excellent. Unicorn roll is our fave!

So amazing to eat tempura again! Not sure that there wasn’t some cross-contamination as I felt slightly symptomatic, but I am also a very sensitive celiac. Overall it was an amazing experience!

Nearly all gf. Perfect labeling. Love being able to get tempura.

All GF and very tasty. The place is spendy. Rolls are a bit expensive for the size and the sashimi platters are not worth the cost IMO. That said, everything we had was delicious and it’s worth the extra cost for truly GF sushi. Only thing with gluten is a hamburger bun…literally. The location is lovely and I will keep going back.

Super conscientious. Also super tasty!! Pretty safe and I’ve not gotten sick. Everything but the burgers are GF and those are prepared in a separate area. Some soy in rolls - very good about telling you which ones. Fried is fine as it’s a dedicated fryer. :)

This place was really good. Wouldn’t rate as excellent though. Ordered the spicy salmon crispy rice, Friday the 13th, full circle and nw philly rolls. The full circle was the best!! The rest were good except the spicy salmon crispy rice, neither of us enjoyed that much. I would definitely eat here again but probably not go all out next time

I am full Celiac and I was AMAZED by how much I could eat here! I even had tempura (which is usually a no-no but they use rice and almond flour) and I made sure to tell my waitress I was allergic to gluten. They were so accommodating. Their entire menu is gluten free except maybe 1 or 2 things. This was hands down the BEST sushi experience I’ve ever had as a Celiac. 10/10 recommend.

You know when you go to a sushi place and you're like "damnit! I should be able to eat everything because soy sauce should actually be made of soy and tempura should be rice flour!". This is the place you've been dreaming of.

My favorite place to visit when in Portland. Staff is knowledgeable and as mentioned nearly everything is GF. The fried Philly roll on the happy hour menu is delicious!
Had a bunch of sushi rolls and tempura at a party that were made from Bamboo Sushi. I was pretty skeptical but called the restaurant to confirm that what we had was GF. I wish I ate more. It was all so good, but I didn’t know if I could trust it. Felt totally fine afterwards and now am really looking forward to stopping in for dinner sometime soon!

Wide range of choices for those with celiac. Fresh, delicious and expertly prepared. Any location in Portland metro will not disappoint.
This is my favorite sushi place. They never disappoint and most of the menu is GF. Highly recommend them!
Very safe. The only thing with gluten on their menu is an american burger, which I've never seen ordered.
Fantastic sushi! Almost all of the menu is GF, including the fryer and all of the soy sauce.

Excellent sushi! Their menu is clearly marked with only two items containing sushi. Well worth the price!

Almost every single item is gluten free! It’s nice having the opportunity to eat sushi again without any worry. Very safe and would highly recommend!

All but a couple of things gf, including the fryer!!! Watch out for beers, but everything else was really clear

This place is great. Only 3 items on the menu that have gluten, excluding some alcoholic beverages. I’ve been going here awhile now and have always loved it but now that their menu has been update this shit is next level. So so good.
I’m always on the lookout for gf sushi when I travel, and this really hit the spot. Only a few items on the menu contain gluten and they are clearly marked - everything else is gf. Great service and friendly staff, too. Wish I lived here so I could eat here all the time.
Many items on menu are just gluten free, no longer need to be modified to be gluten free (changed 2-3 months ago) Gluten free tamari on tables, use gluten free tempura, etc. Gluten free fryer. Sustainable, no MSG, no GMOs. Super yummy. I especially love the hoke poke box!

So fun to go to a sushi place where the gluten items are labeled instead of the gluten ones. Loved it. Yum!

The best option for gluten free sushi downtown. I've had several really good meals here. Every non-gluten free eater I've brought here loves it.

My favorite sushi spot in seattle! Vast majority of menu is gluten free and they only serve GF tempura and have a dedicated fryer. Their menu did recently change and a few additional items have gluten now, but after speaking with the manager, I still feel safe eating here. Appears to be very minimal risk of cross contamination. She also informed me that they are in the process of adapting some of the new menu items with gluten so that they will be gluten free as well.

The food was incredible, most items on the menu were gluten free and the items that aren’t are prepared on separate surfaces. I was so impressed with the food and service.

I’m obsessed with this place. Everything on the menu is gluten free with the exception of the burger. I hadn’t had gluten free tempura in years! So good and staff is all super knowledgeable. All sauces are gf as well! Lots of great appetizers and specialty rolls.

2022-03-31 edit: they changed the menu in March 2022 and I no longer believe it's safe for celiacs.
Some of the best gluten free food I've had from a restaurant in Seattle. I got the sunomono salad, vegetable tempura, and crispy rice spicy tuna sushi. Will be ordering again for sure.

This was a huge bummer, the menu and kitchen used to be entirely gluten free, with exception to the burgers. As of March of 2022 the menu changed and introduced multiple new roles containing gluten. The chopsticks are also wooden meaning cross contamination is inevitable.
