They DO have a GF menu and all sauces are GF. My burnt ends were pretty fatty and sweet. The STL ribs were okay, not great, to me. Hubby loved it all!!!
Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. A gluten free menu is available and it includes most of their foods. They changed gloves when asked. Tasted great.
Some choices. I triple check on safety. I did not have a reaction but it’s definitely a place you need to pay attention to getting safe food. Staff would benefit from training

Such delicious food and knowledgeable staff! I ordered online and added that I was gf in the comments, and they ended up calling me to ask if I wanted a third side for free since I wasn’t getting the bread. Always appreciate that!!
We were in town for a college visit. Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. No one had any reactions. We felt so comfortable we ate there twice!
They know how to handle food for is Celiacs, and take it seriously. One of the girls who works there also has Celiac and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. Good food, great care, and I feel safe ordering here.
Separate gluten free menu for items that are gluten free. Was able to substitute out the toast that came with my meal for another side without an extra charge. The food was great.
Tried this restaurant based on reviews. Stopped in for take out and I told them several times gf. When I got our food I checked to make sure gf. One meal had bread sitting on food. They apologized and gave me all new food. Made us nervous. In the end food was good and no issues after getting new food.
We love the food (especially the turkey) and can get dairy free as well as gluten free. I wish we could order more plant-based foods there. We'd go more if it wasn't such a risk compromising my health.
We have been to the Bandana in Cape Girardeau MO twice and the one in Arnold once.. Both locations were great. They took the "Allergy" seriously. We had great experiences all times. The most recent time we were there they caught an accidental slip. The staff in back accidentally put the bread on the plate. The waitress asked us to make sure it was an allergy as I had just said we are all gluten free. My fault on that it won't happen again. But when said yes a young man came to the table and said I am very sorry but we need to remake all your meals as bread touched them. I was impressed I know some places that would just take the bread off and not say a word. They remade our meals and all was well. The manager and waitress both apologized. several times. We explained that we understood but we were happy they had fixed the problem. We did not get sick. Life is good.. The food was excellent and there are many gf options. We love Bandana.

They have a gf menu.Almost everything is gf except a few fried items.lots of gf bbq sauces and sides. Great place to eat,I was stuffed on lunch portion.
Fantastic option. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free (ALL of those sauces, meats, and most of their sides). Every time we tell them no garlic bread because of my husband's gluten issues, they not only offer him an additional side, but the manager has frequently come out to discuss the options if he has a concern. No separate GF menu, but no need since most items are safe and staff/mgmt are very knowledgable.

GF Menu. Most meats and sides are GF. All sauces GF. Fries are not GF. Polite staff. BBQ was ok to good. Ribs were better than brisket.
The food is excellent. Many GF choices. They are well labeled on the menu. I had the turkey which wasn’t dry at all with potato salad and coleslaw. We have eaten here several times and the food is consistently good. Just make sure to tell your server you have a gluten allergy they know exactly what to do.
Lots of gf options and server is very understanding! Very quick service and delicious bbq! fryer is not dedicated so no fries
All the meat and sauces are gf. Most of the sides are, but not all of them. I just do not get the side of bread and instead they let me get an extra side of something else. I usually get the pulled pork and it is so good. Love this place!
Gluten free menu. We eat here (take out) maybe once a month. I always get green beans and baked potato with either pulled pork or brisket with no reaction. I always alert them that it’s an allergy and have never had a reaction. I love that if you order online for pick up you can click gluten allergy and it includes it on the meal ticket.
