Big gluten free menu including almost all their delicious meats and sauces. Hostess and server were knowledgeable about GF selections and checked ingredients for my dairy allergy, as well. Food came out exactly as ordered. Will eat here again!

Food was good, but I got so super sick. We are unsure if it was gluten CC because my gluten eating boyfriend was also sick feeling after eating here. I popped the probiotics like crazy for the first 24-48 hours and that helped quite a bit. I might give this location another try if I lived in the area. The waitress was nice and double checked things for me in the back and knew what was safe and what wasn't. Again...we're not sure if it was CC or something else, as we both felt yucky, but we'd also been traveling for close to a week and eating out daily (something we don't do frequently), so...it's anyone's guess. I requested a separate menu (based on prior reviews saying they had one), but the hostess didn't know if they even had one...

Great celiac friendly place. I'm celiac and I ordered the pork plate with green beans and potato salad. Tried all the gluten free sauces and it was all very good.

Easy to get a gf menu. They even brought out the sauce for cole slaw because I’m dairy free too. Super nice staff and delicious food. Huge selection of gf options.

Tried this restaurant based on reviews. Stopped in for take out and I told them several times gf. When I got our food I checked to make sure gf. One meal had bread sitting on food. They apologized and gave me all new food. Made us nervous. In the end food was good and no issues after getting new food.

We love the food (especially the turkey) and can get dairy free as well as gluten free. I wish we could order more plant-based foods there. We'd go more if it wasn't such a risk compromising my health.

We have been to the Bandana in Cape Girardeau MO twice and the one in Arnold once.. Both locations were great. They took the "Allergy" seriously. We had great experiences all times. The most recent time we were there they caught an accidental slip. The staff in back accidentally put the bread on the plate. The waitress asked us to make sure it was an allergy as I had just said we are all gluten free. My fault on that it won't happen again. But when said yes a young man came to the table and said I am very sorry but we need to remake all your meals as bread touched them. I was impressed I know some places that would just take the bread off and not say a word. They remade our meals and all was well. The manager and waitress both apologized. several times. We explained that we understood but we were happy they had fixed the problem. We did not get sick. Life is good.. The food was excellent and there are many gf options. We love Bandana.

Food was phenomenal. They have their own separate menu that lists everything. I couldn’t have the garlic toast that came with the meal so they let me have another side. Wish I lived in the area as I would go a lot!

Food was great! Staff was knowledgeable and they had lots of options on the separate Gluten-free menu. My Celiac kids got the “Budget Buster” meal which was only $6.99 and included a meat and 2 sides (we just ordered it without the garlic bread). All of our food was SO good!

The staff was very kind and helpful and the food was great. I would however recommend bringing your own gluten free bread just in case you order one of the sandwiches so they are easier to eat. Only downside is that the gluten free menu is very confusing. Otherwise great place!

Ordered a baked potato for carryout, loaded. Butter & sour cream were on the side, as was the dry chicken I chose as part of it. It came with melted "real" cheese on it (as opposed to a cheese sauce), BUT THEY STUCK TWO HUGE SLICES OF GARLIC BREAD IN THE BOX WITH THE POTATO!!! Ugh!!! So. Frustrating!!! Also got a side of potato salad- too sweet for my taste. Coleslaw was good, but felt "glutened" afterwards - and because they screwed up my potato, it was all I ate, other than the bite of too sweet potato salad. My dinner ended up being a KIND bar and a Haggen Daas vanilla ice cream cup from the hotel lobby market. Boo.

Server brought out my meal with the garlic bread on top of the meat (which I obviously didn’t order). The server (Austin) has my entire plate remade, which made me feel much more comfortable eating my meal. Their website has a gluten-free menu (and other allergens).

When I walked in & asked if there was a gluten-free menu, the hostess had one ready to hand customers. When the server, Petronillia, came to the table, I explained I was celiac. She was friendly, very knowledgeable & efficient. When I ordered my food she made sure I knew that there would be no bread. She also made sure I knew all 6 sauces were gluten-free. The food was hot, tasted wonderful & I loved being able to try all the sauces! This location was my first time eating at a Bandanas. It will not be the last one! When I take the road trip from Virginia to Kansas City, this will be my stop for food. (And having lived in KC, I’m picky about my bbq! LOL)

Came in for a gluten free meal as advertised. evidently the staff doesn't understand what gluten free means. The meal looked good. The part that is not cool. Is staff put a piece of garlic toast on top of meal. Therefore not gluten free. It touched other food.

Told them I was celiac. Ordered from the gluten free menu. Meal showed up with bread on top. So I told them I couldn’t eat it and would get sick. They took it back and just took the bread off and sent it back. So I still would of gotten sick. Just ate my sides and left the contaminated food.

GF menu is available online. I don't know if they have one in the restaurant, because I used the online one. Lots of choices, and I didn't have the problem others did with the bread on the plate. However, when the server made a mistake with a side, she grabbed the side dish, then came back with another, holding it with her hand over the food, which didn't seem sanitary. I wouldn't think they're careful enough to make it safe for celiac, which is a shame, because it could be a haven for GF folks!

When I asked the waitress if they had a gluten free menu, she enthusiastically replied that they did and produced what I thought to be an extensive gf menu for my corner of the world. The food was hot and tasty. The wide selection of BBQ sauces were all gluten free. I learned there is a location in Carbondale, IL, and I will visit that location when I'm there.
