horrible. i went with my husband for lunch before the auto show. i ordered grilled chicken, spinach & tomato on a collard green wrap. told them i was gf/df/grain free/sf and not to bring my food out with my husband's. they brought mine out with his sauce on my plate & the two of them were carried together. i nima tested & my nima found gluten. we asked the runner to get our server. nothing. we asked for the manager. nothing. they didn't care. stay far away. i am giving them 1 star bc it will not let me give zero.

The staff and food were amazing! My son declared it the best burger ever and wanted to come back for dinner. The gluten free bun was soft and chewy, not hard and dry like most places. The burger was juicy.

Bare Burger is an amazing place. You can customize salads with any protein, fruits in them. They will cater to you if you tell them you have allergies. Along with their large selection of craft beers, they also usually carry a gluten free cider on tap. Call ahead to make sure. Each restaurant is individually owned, so they vary slightly.

This is so good - I can't believe I only just found this place. The food and cocktails are amazing , and the gluten free options outstanding. Super helpful wait staff for our group of gluten free and nut free customers. And non GMO is a bonus. GO FORTH AND EAT FREELY ( caveat / FYI Brioche bun has large sesame seeds not indicated on menu )

all GF items are labeled on menu and there are plenty, but a few of the options available are less than stellar. the turkey patty was dry and tough, and the hemp bun was hard. fries are made in a dedicated GF fryer and came out lukewarm. my deprived self was happy to munch on them at any rate, but they could have been much better. trust me, and pass on the side of pickles.

This is a fantastic place! Organic, non-gmo, & reasonably priced! That doesn't happen in NYC. Our waiter (the bartender...we ate at the bar) helped me navigate the menu for GF options. We had GF french fries with our choices of 3 dipping sauces. I'm not used to choices! For dinner: the burger selection is giant....meats, cheeses, toppings, sauces...wow. My GF options were far beyond what I'm used to, and were absolutely delicious! The bar had a very good selection of interesting tap beers and mixed drinks. Tap GF cider, and bottled GF beer. Again...and null very reasonably priced. This is the kind of place that can please everyone. We definitely plan to be back.

Okay so the food is good and they have gluten free options which is why I order from them both at home in Astoria, and at the office. Today I call and they say they just changed their delivery zone and they cannot deliver my food because they were too busy. I'm only and block off their zone and there was no mention of this last week. They would deliver for me if they were not busy yeah right at like 2:30pm. Very bad business practice and rude. They could have delivered for me today since they just changed their delivery zone and say that they will not be able to do so in the future. Now I'm starving with no other option for gluten free food I can trust. Very disappointing.

They do state that it is not a 100% gf establishment but I have eaten here a bunch of times with no issues and I am extremely sensitive. I am just extremely clear with them about my Celiac and make sure they know they need to change gloves, use separate surfaces, etc. The fries are all in a separate fryer from the onion rings so totally safe. The owner is really involved with the community and open to feedback and I have definitely mentioned the importance of cross contamination issues so maybe this has helped them to get serious about it.

direguard my picture...I accidentally posted it here rather than on Wahlburgers. I've never been to this BareBurger, but overall I like BareBurger and the Gluten Free and Vegetarian options. I usually get my vegetarian burger in a lettuce wraps and have had no problems with Gluten or Nuts being in my food but it is was too expensive for me when my lettuce wrapped burger costs $15 just by itself not including sides or a drink. they charge for every little modification. so BareBurger is a treat venue for me, because I can get food just as good for less money elsewhere.

Bareburger is awesome! They are very aware of gluten issues and have gluten-free burger buns and, most important of all, their fries are in a dedicated fryer and therefore truly gluten-free! My son loves his burger and fries there. I love that they offer a collared wrap alternative to a bun and like their Brussels sprouts. And all of their gluten-free salads. I don't eat dairy either, and can get so many things here, it's truly a fun relaxed eating experience. Their menu is completely marked for gluten, dairy and other allergens, and they will show you a listing of all the ingredients in all their foods and sauces if you ask. One of our favorite places!

Our family and friends (a party of 8) went to Bareburger because my youngest who was recently diagnosed with celiac, had been there on a date the week before and loved it. Impressively, the first question our server asked after welcoming us was whether anyone has a food allergy. Burgers were very unique (you could choose one of theirs or build your own), and I had the Blazin' Cattle with beef, pepper jack, fried pickles, spicy fermented slaw, pickled jalapeños, green leaf, sriracha mayo, brioche bun. It was very flavorful. Others had everything from bison to chicken to veggie and were all very pleased. Service was great and place has a cool rustic vibe. My son is a senior at Stevens and that took 10% off the bill which was a very reasonable $133 + tip. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying different burgers! PS - while they can’t guarantee no cross contamination with gluten, my son (and many other Celiac customers I’ve read about on the Find Me Gluten Free app) report no issues with eating at the Hoboken location. Enjoy!
