Tons of GF options clearly marked on menu. We tried the seafood platter & clam chowder. Very good & fantastic views & scenery. Will definitely return.

Separate GF fryer. Was able to enjoy GF fried clams and a delicious lobster roll. Worth the trip to the quiet side of the island!

Met one of the owners when I asked about celiac. He said that multiple family members have celiac and many others only eat gluten free. Great to know! They’re so careful they even brought my son’s corn on the cob separately to make sure it wasn’t cross contaminated.

Gluten-free buns and rolls are available. The staff is very concerned about GF. Of course, the lobster is gluten-free.

Tasty food. Dedicated fryer for clams and fries! All gluten free items are marked with a Star. The cornbread is great too.

Great little spot. Had lobster stew, gluten free fried clams and fries and homemade blueberry lemonade. Stew was full of lobster and potatoes but in very light broth. More like soup. Fried clams were lightly battered, delicate and sweet. Blueberry lemonade was delicious.

Loved this place. Super knowledgeable about cross contamination. I had lobster, gf cornbread, corn and amazing crab dip. Highly recommend.

Menu is clearly marked with many GF options. Almost everything can be made GF. My son (age 11) who is DF/GF had his first ever true lobster roll here and found it amazing! It’s expensive but no more so than any other lobster/seafood restaurant in Acadia. Definitely a highlight, definitely would come back.

We ate there 3 times. Lobster, fried clams, fried fish etc. it’s well marked on their menu. I’m celiac never a reaction. I’d love to go everyday!

It was so nice to see everything labeled and not have to stress over what to order. Pretty much most of the menu was available as gluten free including udis buns for their lobster rolls.

Loves the blue stars for GF menu items. Made it easy to figure out what was safe to eat. Just stick with those items and you are fine. Excellent lobster! Update: Third night in a row going! Had the lobster roll on a GF roll. They made sure my food was prepared separate and labeled so I knew which was mine without checking all the boxes. Very accommodating!!!

Many options, delicious lobster, great atmosphere. They were unsure of which of their salad dressings were gluten free so I just went without to be safe (I have celiac)

Gluten free fried fish and rolls. We were disappointed because we called ahead to check on French fries and they were contaminated

Loved dining here! The lobster stew and roll is fantastic. The owner walked around the outdoor dining area and checked on us. His wife and children are gluten free and designed most of the menu so that they can enjoy it. I highly recommend it for a lovely outdoor dining experience.

I highly recommend Beal's. This place is fantastic! It is right on the water and has a wonderful Old Maine atmosphere. We had lobster rolls with gluten free buns which were so delicious as well as great gluten free beer. Don't miss this place. We went twice because we enjoyed it so much.

We've been going to Beals for years now. It is nice that they have adjusted to the increasing celiac cases and now offer gluten-free options.
