They are always the best in here! They change gloves, wash hands and get fresh ice cream, ingredients etc! They are always so knowledgeable and so kind even when they are busy! Love love love coming here!!
We stopped by because we know at the store there are Ben and Jerry’s certified gf options and were curious if they also had them. I asked about the procedure for gf. He said they use a new spoon, gloves and only will serve it in a cup. They move the top layer of gf ice cream and scoop the deeper ice cream to serve in the cup. I felt like they had a protocol and made accommodations to avoid cross contact.
I ordered the sorbet and when I told them it was due to celiac, the kind employee booth used a clean scooper and opened an entirely new box of sorbet to avoid cross contamination. Very impressed!
Over this past summer there was an employee here who also had celiac and every time i went in she made sure that every thing i had was prepped in the most cautious was possible. Ben and jerry’s also has certified GF flavors and a great allergy protocol for severing customers.
Factory tour was great, they offered me a safe sample both gf & df. Also was able to purchase a gf & df pint and a gf df lip balm
