We hadn’t been to BJ’s for a few years because the food had gone downhill and it had become too expensive compared to other restaurants who offered GF. We decided to give them another shot and realized that not only had their GF menu not improved, but their prices were still too high for what you get. The GF pizza serving size had shrunk significantly since the last time we’d visited. $18 for a basic pizza the size of a dinner plate with scant toppings is far too much to pay at a chain restaurant where their crusts aren’t made in house. Our family of four left over $100 bills lighter and weren’t impressed. Lesson refreshed>>>we’ll never go back. If you’re in the Allen TX area and want pizza with both flavor and value, head to Palio’s Pizza Cafe on Stacy Rd. Our family can eat there for around $50 (half the price of what our meal cost at BJ’s!)—and with leftovers. Palio’s Ceasar salads are amazing too. (you can byob if you’d like—no cork fee) I reviewed them 2 years ago and they’ve been our “go to” restaurant for GF pizza ever since. Great experiences at this location without any problems being glutened. GF pizza crusts are also NF. The can get busy with takeout orders so remind the kitchen to be mindful of your gluten and/or nut allergy and they are happy to accommodate.

I have come to this location several times and it has been fine except for the service. Went here yesterday and got broccoli cheese soup and gluten free pizza. Only ate half of my pizza and before leaving the restaurant I was sick. Do yourself a favor and drive to the one in Plano!!!

This facility is NOT safe for Gluten Free food. Although they have a limited gluten free menu & advertise their gluten free pizookie, they are not safe for celiacs. Our celiac family got contaminated here & our server Jeremy was arrogant & rude. Staff are not trained to understand this food related disease. They also don't use a dedicated gluten free fryer. 😥🤢🤮💔

I have multiple food sensitivities and they checked labels for me and checked back on me several times. The waiter was really good and lots of fun. BJ’s is becoming one of my go to restaurants when traveling for safe food!

My daughter has celiac and we are always wary of trying new gluten free places. This one was good. Our waitress asked us if she had a gluten sensitivity when we ordered. Will be back.

NEVER AGAIN. I have ordered from here for the last time. They have messed my order up more times then they've gotten it right. Tonight I ordered a baked potato and specified no Alfredo sauce, got it home and took a bite and realized they hid a little Alfredo sauce underneath the veggies. It seems like they did it on purpose! I am now going to be sick because the Alfredo is not gluten free. thanks bjs. I am so tired of these idiot restaurants that don't take gluten free seriously. I'm not eating out anymore it's just not worth it!!

Great service. A few times we've been there the manager has come over to acknowledge our gluten free order. Pizza is great, so is the grilled chicken potato with veggies. Have them hold Alfredo sauce. If you can eat cheese, their broccoli cheddar soup is great too.

If you go when they aren't as busy the pizza has a softer texture. Every time we have gone during peak dinner time it has been over cooked and crunchy.

I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but…My daughter has celiacs so eating out is a struggle, especially on the road. We picked BJ's bc they have gf buns. But they went above and beyond for my daughter. Our server Deja HANDCUT her French fries and then oven cooked them so there was no cross contamination with the fryers and had their manager cook her onions and mushrooms bc the kitchen was busy and she wanted to make sure it was right. I couldn't have asked for a better server or food for her!

I love their burgers/sandwiches. The server did warn me that the fries are cooked in a shared fryer, but it didn’t make me sick. So I guess they must change their oil out frequently or something.

I really love BJ’s as an easy place to eat out. They’re super knowledgeable about gf things and while I didn’t ask about specific practices, as soon as I said I had celiac’s, the server reassured me. And honestly the food tastes great. I had a burger and the gluten-free pizookie and it was delicious! My ice cream was even served from a brand new package to be extra safe. Didn’t get sick, would definitely come back.

Gluten Sensitive Option items marked on menu (appetizers, salads, entrees). Gluten free buns available for burgers. Gluten free pizza option. I had a Strawberry fields chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was average good.

The service was horrible, we felt like we were at an invisible table. The large group that arrived well after we ordered received their food before ours. And our 3 orders came out piece meal from the kitchen. We had to ask multiple times for items we ordered, for refills and for our change once we paid the bill.
