I ordered takeout via their website; on the menu while ordering it has a special section labeled "gluten sensitive." I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the cheddar mashed potatoes for the side. It was delicious! I am on vacation with my family for a week and we will probably eat there again on this trip and probably future trips
Overall I think good precautions were taken. I ordered the turmeric cauliflower and kale & Brussel sprouts salad. I let our server know I had a gluten and dairy allergy, but something still bothered me after dinner that I ate. My intuition says the dairy allergy was not followed As closely as the gluten allergy, since I ordered only strictly gluten safe items.
We went here because we were told they had an extensive gf menu. Unfortunately covid strikes again. They have downsized the menu considerably. Server was knowledgeable and honest. He made very specific notes for the kitchen. No reaction so I believe the choices were gf but it was disappointing to have so little to choose from...however the burger was amazingly tasty. No designated fryer ...
Had a fine experience here - I'm not sure I feel super confident they take proper precautions, as the waiter asked if I wanted a bread bowl for my soup after I'd already explained my dietary restriction (it may have been reflex!). I will say he later asked if it was okay to refill my glass with the open water pitcher, which I appreciated. The food I had was tasty and I didn't get sick. Not a ton of options though, which was a bit disappointing. It was good in a pinch but I probably wouldn't eat here again.
Dedicated GF menu. Had the Cheeseburger with a side of white cheddar mashed potatoes. They don’t have a dedicated frier so French fries aren’t an option but they had several other sides to choose from. I enjoyed my meal here! (Had a pizza at a different location earlier in the week - great meal and experience then too!)
Amazing! I love their pizza and have never had a reaction from it (I'm pretty sensitive so that's saying a lot). Ate here today and the kitchen manager came out to rep over the menu with me, take my order, and personally made my GF pizza! I love their pizza so much that I got a second one Togo!
My daughter is celiac and we have eaten here several times over the last few weeks. Excellent meals and gluten free menu no problem for staff. Recommend for families visiting here.
Have eaten here a few times in past year... Knowledgeable staff and variety on menu. Wide selection of pizza toppings that all taste great on GF 10" crust. Have also enjoyed the balsamic chicken, BBQ chicken salad and finishing with a GF Pizookie for dessert. For those who enjoy a drink while eating out, the Berry Burst Cider.
I went here before a formal with a large group. Ordered the power bowl, and was so sick not even an hour later. Friends who listened to my conversation with the waitress assured me that I made my needs perfectly clear, and said all that I could. I requested a glove change, made sure the ingredients weren’t cross contacted, all the usual steps. Obviously somewhere along the line something got messed up, though I can’t say what it was. I’m sad to say it, as in the past I’ve had no issues, but I will never be returning.
I have eaten here twice in the last year and I have to say, they have upped their game with safety.
They ask you if it’s an “allergy thing” so they can inform the kitchen-not exactly correct terminology, but it gives me confidence that there is training for allergies and that is a good thing.
Also, their menu has “gluten-sensitive” items marked on the menu. I suspect that they were sued by someone because it uses to say “gluten free”. That’s what happened to California Pizza Kitchen and Starbucks also.
If you get the GF pazookie, they bring you out your own bitty ice cream carton to make sure it isn’t cross contaminated from other desserts. I was so pleased with my service and the caring the staff has shown me that I am now going to patronize their business more often.
As a community we need to realize that if people/businesses are trying to accommodate, we need to give them kudos. We should, of course, ask questions and educate, but we should be slow to bash business or take legal action. We want them to continue to try to make our lives easier and our food safer because they love us and care about our community, not because those “gluten-free people” make their job super difficult.
*Steps down off soap box*
Usually relatively safe. Our dumb ass cocky waiter assured us gluten free, did not make note came back with gf Pozuki with regular ice cream on top. We didn’t know the gf ice cream should have come pre wrapped according to the manager after I got sick and question the product. The waiter should be suspended for his cocky attitude and should have to attend Gf training in my opinion. If a restaurant is going to promote it they better make sure there waiters take this shit seriously.
