They were great about substituting my sons children mini burger buns for a GF bun. There GF pizza crust is also really good. They even put our sons fries on the side in a different plate because they didn’t originally mention they don’t have a separate frier. Overall it was good food but not safe for celiacs
Had one of the best gluten free buns for burgers I’ve ever tried! I was also pleasantly surprised to find out they offer a GF Pizookie (basically a large chocolate chip cookie) and they also have separately sealed containers of vanilla ice cream to go with it to avoid cross contamination.
The only downside was that the server did not inform me that the fries and tortilla chips are made in the same fryer as the breaded items (so side options are pretty limited). It was an overall great experience though!
Had dinner there tonight. Ordered a burger that was labeled GF on their menu. Asked if the fries are GF. Server said she’d check and if they are do I want them? I said yes. She brought me the burger and fries. Fries were crispy and I thought wow, these are great! Now tonight I’m HORRIBLY SICK. I asked another person I ate dinner with what they thought of the fries and they said they definitely seemed breaded because they were so crispy. DO NOT trust them to even do what they say! She said she’d check if they were GF. CLEARLY, they were not. I’m so so sick now. Very disappointed
I was traveling to NC and stayed in Fredericksburg on my way there and on my way home. I went to BJ's Brewhouse both times. I ordered the GF pizza on both occasions. It was really good!! I did not get sick. The waiter told me they prepare it in a separate area with separate utensils. I also had the GF free chocolate chip cookie desert with ice cream and it was delicious!! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I wish we had this place near me I'd eat there all the time! Thanks
Best gluten free pizza ever and no egg in the crust either! Good cocktails and atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
I don’t necessarily think the “gluten sensitive” options are the safest in general for celiac but I’ve had good luck with the salmon bowl with quinoa rice & cauliflower rice, it’s excellent. Make sure you do baked, not blacked due to cross contact. Anything else I’ve ordered from pizza to burgers I’ve had reactions. So I’ll stick to this one item.
I safely order the Hickey Brisket & Bacon burger once a month. I get a gluten free bun and mashed potatoes. No fries, not safe. And I have gotten the gluten free pazookie with ice cream in the to go cups on the side. Went this week and no problems again. Nima tested it the first time and continue to trust it since.
