GLUTEN FREE PIZOOKIE

This was our first time at BJs Brewhouse. While it was pricey for my son’s GF pizza, it was absolutely delicious and I actually got anxious they gave him a gluten pizza. It was definitely GF but absolutely delicious and he loved being able to get the toppings he wanted.

I've had the pizza here twice and enjoyed it. I'm diagnosed with celiac, am fairly sensitive to gluten, and haven't yet experienced problems. Thumbs up, at least so far.
Lots of different choices on the menu and easily customized!
They have some training and awareness, but I’ve had the wrong bun brought out when ordering a hamburger with gluten free bun. Always confirm when you’ve made a modification to the meal you ordered at this location!!

I had a great time. I'm a celiac and ordered a cider and a pizza. No problems here.
Yes
I would give it zero stars if I could. Not safe for celiacs. French fries are not safe due to shared fryer. Yet my plate with supposedly gluten food was delivered with one French fry among the other food. Called manager, he apologized and took both our meals off the bill but I had to leave and go elsewhere to get something to eat after my husband who is not gluten free quickly downed his meal.
Not safe for celiacs!

We never got to our main dish. Ordered a gluten free Cesar salad without croutons. It came with croutons. The manager came out to deliver the second salad and when my son mixed it, he noticed a piece of corn in the salad. At that point, we didn't feel comfortable staying for our meal so we asked for the manager and told him the issues and left. He apologized and said he understood. This was our first visit to this restaurant. I called and spoke to the manager ahead of time and, based on the conversation, I felt confident that they understood gluten free and took the necessary precautions. Obviously, I was wrong.

I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but…My daughter has celiacs so eating out is a struggle, especially on the road. We picked BJ's bc they have gf buns. But they went above and beyond for my daughter. Our server Deja HANDCUT her French fries and then oven cooked them so there was no cross contamination with the fryers and had their manager cook her onions and mushrooms bc the kitchen was busy and she wanted to make sure it was right. I couldn't have asked for a better server or food for her!

I love their burgers/sandwiches. The server did warn me that the fries are cooked in a shared fryer, but it didn’t make me sick. So I guess they must change their oil out frequently or something.

I really love BJ’s as an easy place to eat out. They’re super knowledgeable about gf things and while I didn’t ask about specific practices, as soon as I said I had celiac’s, the server reassured me. And honestly the food tastes great. I had a burger and the gluten-free pizookie and it was delicious! My ice cream was even served from a brand new package to be extra safe. Didn’t get sick, would definitely come back.

Gluten Sensitive Option items marked on menu (appetizers, salads, entrees). Gluten free buns available for burgers. Gluten free pizza option. I had a Strawberry fields chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was average good.
The service was horrible, we felt like we were at an invisible table. The large group that arrived well after we ordered received their food before ours. And our 3 orders came out piece meal from the kitchen. We had to ask multiple times for items we ordered, for refills and for our change once we paid the bill.
