Alas, I got glutened.
I heard that Blaze Pizza was a safe place for celiacs, so I decided to take the risk and try it. I went as soon as it opened in the morning, when there would be the least amount of flour dust in the air and in the ovens. I choose the gluten-free cauliflower pizza crust with two or three simple toppings.
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They pointed me out to exactly which toppings had gluten in which ones did not, including the cheeses and sauces. A manager gave her employee specific instructions about changing gloves and not letting the crust touch the counter, and the employee willingly complied. I wore a mask while I was inside and then ate outside. The pizza was delicious, top-tier.
However, a bit later I began feeling abdominal pains, bloating, and that weird stitch on one side of my ribcage. For the next few days, I had glutening symptoms. I felt like I had done everything right as far as I was able, except of course for going to a pizza restaurant in the first place. It seems that even the most careful practices from my end and theirs weren't enough.

Had a great experience at this location. i said a gluten free crust, they immediately asked if a glove change was needed, to which i said yes and the WHOLE line changed their gloves. they use a separate pizza sauce for allergy pizzas which also made me feel very safe! overall great experience and well trained employees

Had a great experience here with pizza that tastes LIKE ACTUAL PIZZA.
Got the gluten free crust but they also have a cauliflower crust to choose from. And they have a dedicated allergen free sauce separate from the other sauces. They asked if I had an allergy before I could explain and were so helpful!

They have gf crust that is delicious. They ask if it’s an allergy but then they do little to keep it gf. They used their used gloves to pull the gf crust out touched it all over putting it on the pan then changed gloves! Used same utensils for sauces and other workers putting toppings on with same gloves they touched gluten ones with. Sometimes they use a gf pizza cutter sometimes not. Think they are just really uneducated. If you stay on them it can be done. You just have to watch them and educate. I mean no matter what a place like this will be cross contaminated but the level depends on how well you watch and educate.

I absolutely love Blaze pizza! I've never gotten sick after eating at any Blaze location. They always pile on the toppings and the pizza is just too delicious!! I haven't been in awhile but I believe they have a GF crust as well as a Cauliflower crust! I usually opt for the GF crust. Very tasty! They're also good about changing gloves!

They DO offer gluten free crust ***BUT*** refuse to work with you to keep your order gluten free!!! The will ONLY use the toppings that are out (& already cross comtaminatedđŸ¥º) worse reaction ever when I asked them to use fresh gloves! I left without making a purchase.

I really liked this place and felt safe. They put the dough on a mat so it’s not on the same surface as the gluten pizza when cooking it. They changed the gloves and made sure no one touched my pizza with gluten hands. They have a certain sauce just for gluten free pizza. They got ingredients from the bottom that weren’t touched and used a clean pizza cutter to cut my pizza. They didn’t seem to mind accommodating. I apologized for being complicated and they were just like it’s not that big of a deal.

Don’t eat here! I got such attitude on the gluten free ask. The girl was so put out that she didn’t even get the toppings from a clean container. I paid for the pizza and threw it out. I will never go there again!!

Went in and ordered a pepperoni pizza with gluten free crust. They asked if it was an allergy or preference. When I said allergy they did a glove change, offered to pull ingredients from the bottom, have a designated red sauce just for gluten free items, and we’re very kind and didn’t act like it was a bother to go through those extra steps. My husband who is not gluten free tried my pizza and said it is no different than his just a little thinner. I’ve ate here many times and will continue to come back!
