My celiac daughter got sick from eating here. Will not go back.

We called ahead and they said they do gluten free pizza but upon further inspection they use the same dough smasher thing without cleaning so no matter what there is cross contamination. Couldn’t even eat a salad because they use their hands to grab ingredients so there is cross contamination there too. Ate elsewhere

I always love their pizza and they offer a vegan gf option for other allergies. They have a different pizza cutter and will cook it on parchment to keep it away from the gluten. They have always accommodated me. It’s one of the few places I will get pizza.

I loved the pizza. Nevertheless, I think that when you are a celiac you should watch out. I am struggling with gluten and dairy intolerances, so I can handle cross contamination. Nevertheless, I saw some cheese falling into the tomato sauce and I only saw one oven. Unless I am missing something, I would be careful.

The staff was so great and knowledgeable about Celiac. They changed their gloves and made my cauliflower crust pizza in the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. They were so kind and friendly. It can be intimidating to eat at a pizza place, but they completely set my mind at ease.

Employees asked all of the right questions and changed their gloves. Very accommodating and yummy GF and DF options. Will be back again when I’m in town.

Amazing staff, spectacular price, zero reaction, great taste, what’s more to love? Staff asked if the needed to change gloves, and when I said yes, they made sure to change latex gloves mid-way through.
Yes
I only eat here when I can go in a closely monitor them making my pizza. I always ask for them to use ingredients from under the counter. Watch closely to ensure they are using all red utensils and mats (red signifies to be used on GF only).

As delicious as the pizza was, it made me very sick. I explained all the usual things (gloves change, all my ingredients from brand new containers, not touching shared surfaces, etc) and they complied. Something I didn’t anticipate was the cooking oven, which is shared with regular pizzas. They did put it on its own little pizza tray, I was watching closely and my pizza ended up bumping up against another pizza as it went into the oven. I explained the situation and they remade it, and this time it didn’t touch any other pizza. However, even though it was marked, the person slicing pizzas after cooking almost cut my pizza with the glutened cutter! Thankfully I was watching like a hawk and I stopped him before he did. I was feeling fine about eating the remade pizza, but I got very sick from it. I wouldn’t recommend for Celiacs who are sensitive to cross contamination.

Went here a few days ago with a friend. Service was amazing! Upon asking for their gluten free crust, I was asked about my level of intolerance (basically if it was just a concern or a severe allergy). They take plenty of steps here to make sure that all of the customers are safe with what they eat!

Blaze has always been super allergy friendly. They are great about changing gloves and taking allergy toppings/sauce from allergy containers. Blaze also has vegan cheese for my GF/DF daughter. We love Blaze!!
