This place does offer GF options - they have a note on their website that they take steps to minimize cross-contamination as much as possible, but cannot promise 100% separation. When I’ve dined here - the staff has been really courteous to help with dietary needs.
Have been there many times and have never gotten sick as a celiac.
It makes me nervous to eat in a pizza place because I feel like everything probably has gluten on the surface, but I didn’t get sick! (I was very careful not to touch door knobs and ate my pizza with knife and fork just in case...) Menu was confusing in a way which pizza was actually gluten free. They can do all pizza with gluten free crust, and I think the only topping that’s not gluten free was meatballs, but the waiter was not too clear on that. Had chicken pesto and mushroom pizza, spicy chicken wings, and zucchini noodle salad. Pizza was so good I would rather eat that than regular pizza even if I can tolerate gluten. Wings were good. Salad was refreshing but the taste gets boring after a while. Would be good to share.
I order pizza from Blue Line roughly once a month - it's a regular go-to spot for me. It's unfortunate to see in these reviews that others have had reactions to gluten cross contact from dining here - I've never had an issue, and I find that I'm very sensitive to even trace amounts of gluten.
They state on their website menu: "We take extra precautions to try to prevent cross contamination of allergens, but all of our food is prepared in the same kitchen environment and we do not claim and cannot guarantee that items made in our kitchen are 100% free of gluten or allergens." In talking with the staff, I've been informed that they prepare the GF pizza with separate equipment and bake it on a clean pan in a shared oven. It works for me, but YMMV.
The GF crust is thin and crispy, with a slight sweetness to it. They also have a cauliflower crust, but I haven't tried that one. They offer lots of different topping combos - my favorites are the Brass Monkey, Classic, and Hot Honey & Sausage. They also offer half & half.
This place has the best pizza! The flavors were spectacular, I was very impressed! The first time I ate here I had a bit of a stomachache, but it was delicious enough to try again. The second time I went the waitress answered a few of my questions about kitchen procedures but was very honest with me - all of the pizzas go into the same oven and there is cross contamination there. I was so sad to hear this, as it’s no longer a safe option for me. This place is fantastic for people who are not very sensitive though!
Hands down, our favorite gluten free pizza option. We always get the mushroom pizza and the garden pesto one. Their salads are huge and so fresh. We've had the bacon and bleu salad and the spinach goat cheese one. After your pizza, walk across the street to get a GF chocolate chip cookie & Marianne's ice cream from Nox!
The gluten free pizza was okay, definitely not regular pizza but still good, unfortunately the pizza does all go through the same oven therefore not safe if you are sensitive towards cross contamination, like me. If not they do have protocol for gluten free, they have dedicated knives and pans for gluten free pizza. They do not have a seperate GF menu, but do have alternatives wrotten on the regular menu.
