Very good Pho I had the vegetable with tofu. I usually do not like tofu but this was very good!

I’ve been eating here regularly (2-4 times a month) for 2+ years and have only had 2 episodes of cross contamination. I think it was the caused by ban mi bread. Recently they decided to go gluten free with their fryer—but would still confirm.
Hands down, best gluten free pho I've ever had, the had a dedicated gluten free fryer....I had gluten free fried spring rolls for the first time ever and fried bananas with coconut ice cream, I would eat there everyday if I could!!
Last time I was here this location was closed down and the restaurant had merged with its test kitchen in the space next to portage bay cafe.
They have a gluten free frier! Almost anything can be made gluten free, and they really know their stuff. I love the fried spring rolls!

Yo I been here 3 times so far, absolutely no sickness, bahn mi is great (get the spicy aioli), pho is an incredible amount of food (gf hoisin sauce on the table), such a good price!! The tofu is a little plain, but I bet the meats are great if you fuck with that. Looking forward to trying the buns next time!
The only thing they have with gluten is the bread for bahn mi (they also have gf), and there are 2 bottles of housing sauce on the tables, one gf, one not. The server did tell me to mention that I have celiac, so I think they have strong cross-contamination policies :)

I've tried the Pho here one time and it was awful but I did not have a reaction. This last May I tried the gluten free Banh Mi sandwich, because everyone said completely safe. I even discussed with the staff that I'm a celiac and not some trendy GF-er (nothing wrong with that folks). Had the sandwich and by the next morning I was passing out worst digestion issues followed by 10 weeks (yes weeks) of immune issues. dermatitis herpetiformis severe chest pain. Heck, went to a cardiologist even. It had been six years since my last gluten experience and that was just a minor amount of soy sauce. Do not trust this place, EVER!!

Had gf ban mi and lotus chips and suffered bad reactions afterwards. Must have severe contamination. Be aware.

This place has great food but they are not 100% gluten free so be ware. When I called to ask them about it, the girl said "everything we make is gluten free" so that was a bit misleading. They have sticky gluten-filled hoisin sauce sitting right on the table. They also have the option of a regular French baguette or a gf one so there is potential for cross contamination. Supposedly everything else is gluten free. I also asked if they had potato vodka and the server had no idea and had to find out. (They don't). They do however have a nice, albeit small selection of Omission gluten free beer.
I've gotten takeout from here and also ate at the restaurant. The takeout experience was way better! After actually eating in the restaurant, I had to come back and amend my review! It was so crowded and uncomfortable. The tables are tiny and then they brought out these giant metal plates! It was really quite bizarre. We didn't have enough room for everything. They also made us fill our own takeout boxes with zero room on our table! If you're sitting closer to a stranger than the person you came with, then there's a problem! The service was pretty bad too. Then, after bad service, no room, and awkwardly trying to fill our own takeout boxes without elbowing the people next to us, we were given a tablet to swipe our card with and asked to tip right there in front of them, with the smallest tip option (without doing a custom tip) of 16.5%! Insane. Anyhow, If you eat here, I highly recommend takeout!! (If that wasn't clear) :)

The best! You can literally get almost anything you want here! Ask for the gluten free hoisin sauce.
This place has AMAZING gluten free bahn mi sandwiches - and only $6. I highly recommend.
