Great place and great service! We made it in late because of several traveling setbacks, and thankfully they took my order as takeout right before they were closing. We sat and waited at the bar for food to cook and the employees just sat and talked with us. They were super nice and the food was amazing! I got the guacamole and steak salad, side of bourbon street rice and the banana foster for dessert! Honestly the best food we’ve had on vacation so far

Great selection for their gluten free menu. Very helpful. After we ate lunch at the restaurant I ordered a to-go order. The waiter came back to ask if the order was for someone other than me because it wasn't gluten free. It was for my husband who isn't gluten free but I was impressed that the waiter made the effort to make Sure I knew it wasn't gluten free

I did not get sick here but I'm not sure I'll eat here again. The restaurant was short-staffed, so the waitress was very busy and didn't have time to listen to my concerns. The "GF menu" was a printed allergen list and added a lot of stress rather than alleviating any. Things described on the regular menu as being made with a roux (butter, flour) were NOT marked "contains wheat" on the allergen list. I felt like I was taking a huge risk by eating here and would've walked away if I hadn't been with a group. I feel very lucky and not at all savvy to have avoided getting sick while eating out this time, at this restaurant.

Great options and very knowledgeable about Celiac precautions. Had the steak salad and fish tacos with rice! Very delicious. Would highly recommend!

Stopped in for dinner. Had a ribeye with shrimp and the Gouda grits were delicious. The spice on the shrimp was also very good. Steak was cooked to perfection. Bananas foster for dessert which was so so good! We thought it was such a great find. We went back for brunch. Had eggs, andouille sausage and more of those gouda grits! Eggs were cooked perfectly. Little dive bar with fun mardi grad music, yummy food and fun clientele.

Food was very good. They assured me that if you tell them you have an allergy, they will prepare in a different area of the kitchen. My only complaint is the portions were very small and I left there hungry.

Amazing service and quick to offer a GF menu that has a larger variety of options than expected. Outstanding flavor and beyond satisfying!

GF menu available with multiple options from appetizers to entrees.
They had a more extensive GF menu than I expected with Jambalaya and Red beans and rice plus several egg dishes on it. I had the Jambalaya with the hot sausage and it was delicious! They did not have GF bread but the cheese grits were excellent!

Waitress was new and extremely unhelpful when asked about substitutions on the menu. Then when our food came out it was 80% wrong. Mine was an entirely different entree than I ordered and my husband had to go back because they hadn't made the substitution he requested. This after waiting forever for our drinks. They do have a gluten free menu, but need to replace a waitress who is so unhelpful.
The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free options and was happy to make recommendations!! Our server was incredibly friendly and the food was excellent!! Two people in our party have celiac and this was a lovely spot for lunch!! I had the dirty shrimp and my mom had the garlic mashed potatoes, a side of mild sausage, and a small salad. Everything was amazing!
Absolutely wonderful. Good food (had the muffler with spinach ham etc. great service
Eat here regularly! Awesome staff and very Gluten Free knowledgable. Highly recommend the tilapia w/bed of rice and side of sauté sweet potato.
