Fantastic! Love that they have an allergen guide. They are super hospitable and knowledgeable about all kinds of food allergies.
I had the shrimp and grits. It was delicious! Also, was informed that the potatoes (not included with the shrimp & grits) are cooked in a dedicated fryer. Will definitely return to try their other gf dishes.
Love this place. I either do chilaquiles GF french toast, or the protein pancakes. I haven’t had an issue. I would be aware that there’s 2 symbols on the menu. There’s a symbol for “can be made GF upon request” and a “GF” symbol. Super slight difference in symbols but can be frustrating if that mistake is made.
The menu said all of their eggs Benedict were “served over sourdough English muffin, topped with gluten-free hollandaise sauce.” The Mushroom N’ Pesto one is marked gluten-free. I asked about that English muffin, waitress said if it must be gluten-free, they sub with gluten-free toast. I said I’d go with that. (Should have been a red flag that it was ambiguously marked on the menu). Within an hour I had a migraine, and then I got the usual indigestion issues. I seem to tolerate some cross-contamination, and I still got sick. Our food came out at completely different times too, so some of us were watching our food get cold for a considerable amount of time while waiting for the rest.
Great breakfast- staff was knowledgeable.
Really delicious eggs Benedict with gluten free hollandaise sauce and crab cake. They informed me that gluten free bread would go into to toaster with wheat bread so I had without. Server was very aware and reviewed all options.
