No measures taken to prevent cross-contamination and they're not training their staff about allergens and intolerances. Whoever answers the business phone isn't educated at all about gluten - I had to explain it to her in great detail and she still had to put me on hold for several minutes to go talk to her supervisor before being able to answer what sauces were gluten free and if they could guarantee no cross contamination. The brisket is fatty and had gristle in it. The sauces are subpar and for a privately owned restaurant the meat is probably some of the worst BBQ here in town. You could get a better sandwich at Arby's (if it was GF).

We ordered takeout. I finally got ahold of a manager who emailed me the allergen list because I have both gluten and dairy intolerance. Had pulled pork, baked beans, and house potato salad. No issues for me.

The gluten free options are pretty good there’s a good amount but they know NOTHING about cross contamination or in our servers case she had no clue what “gluten” was she assumed it was like diabetes! Terrible
When I ordered my food I said “can you please make sure the cook is aware I have a gluten allergy” she said “uhh yeah.. yeah I’ll tell him” shoulda known by her response that she was clueless none the less my good comes out with two huge pieces of garlic bread on my place I immediately said I have a gluten allergy and she replied “okaaaaay???” Beyond clueless and replies “do you want it remade?” She didn’t even realize the bread was the issue lol it was quite awful for her she was just clueless I wish she would have just said she didn’t know what gluten was or what an allergy to gluten was rather than acting as if she did it ended up being quite an awful experience and I would never go back

The staff just doesn’t seem to be well-verses in the allergens present in the food. They also placed bread on a plate when no bread was requested. Someone posted on here that their fries are gluten free, but they are not. The fries are not only fried in the same fryer as other gluten containing food, but they are also battered with flour.

Our favorite bbq spot! All meats and sauces are gf, several side options too. My celiac husband always gets the messy fries with never any issue. Yum!
Yes
Very good menu selection but was surprised I received bread with my meal
I was not impressed with the food at all. I have a Mission BBQ in my town and its amazingly delicious
Yes
They had an allergen list on the gluten free menu we requested which was great but the order taker still asked us if we wanted that as a sandwich. Easy mistake since they ask everyone that. My husband and I both got veggie sides one of which was sweet potatoes. I scoop into mine and after one bite my husband says "oh no!" There were macaroni noodles in the bottom of his cup... Three of them. I started fishing around mine and I too had two in my cup. I brought them up and they said sorry about that and brought us " fresh" cups which we appreciated but at his point we were both done eating. My husband has been sick since we ate there last night.

The food was really good. We tried a few meats and the green beans. Large portions and many delicious sauce options (only one has gluten out of 6 or so). Neither of us got sick at all.
Love this place. The staff is hit and miss with GF knowledge base - but the do have GF bbq sauce, and the food is very good. Never gotten sick - recommend!
Fair warning this restaurant specializes in hot(spicy) BBQ sauces. if you are sensitive to spicy food this is not the place for you.
I have eaten here a few times now and have not gotten sick. I am a very sensitive celiac so the fact that I have had several meals here without indecent says a lot.
They have an allergen list to go with their menu. Most meats are gluten free as well as the beans and corn. Make sure to tell them to make the meal gluten free with no bread. I like the pulled pork the most but the shredded chicken is awesome too. next time I will try the baby back ribs.
They have assorted iced teas that are nice but not the best I have had.
This is a nice place so stop by when you can. If you like semi to outright hot sauces you will love this place.
As a note today they mistakenly laid bread on my meal today. I pointed this out and they quickly remade my meal without the bread. Very caring and considerate people.
