Pretty good pizza! They added tin foil to the plan to avoid CC. I’m pretty sensitive and did not get sick.
Food took an hour and a half to arrive after ordering. When it did arrive, the salad had croutons on it. I ordered a burger without a bun so it had extra lettuce with it that was wilted enough that I couldn't use it.
Buddy’s was awesome! Staff were friendly & totally understood my needs. I was able to get the original Detroiter gluten free & had no issues. I feel so grateful that I could actually participate in a classic tradition despite having Celiac. Absolutely delicious & worth the trip!

Do NOT eat here if you have celiac disease. I had a severe reaction after asking if the pizza was gluten free 3 TIMES (before I ordered, when I ordered and before I ate). Extremely disappointing.

The hostess and waiter were not knowledgeable about gluten free precautions but they gladly checked with the kitchen staff. Ordered a gluten free pizza and it came out on tinfoil with its own pizza cutter to limit cross contamination. Very reactive celiac and did not react at all. Pizza was good too. Would return.
I had a great pizza, no issues, came separate from rest of meal, was not cut, had my own cutter with pizza.

We went here based on a blog review. We ordered the gluten free pizza. Three of us in our family have celiac. I got very very sick. I am very sensitive and I haven’t been this sick since I accidentally ate a full on gluten waffle. One of my daughters got slightly sick and the other daughter did not seem to react. The pizza was ok and certainly not worth the horrible after effects for me.

Our server was excellent and even thought of double checking the house dressing for us even though we forgot to ask about it. The pizza came out in foil with a clean pizza cutter.
Buddy’s brings the gluten free pizza on a foil sheet, where regular pizzas are not.
My son had no issues at all and enjoyed his pizza!

Outstanding Gluten Free Pizzas 🥰
Best GF crust I’ve had. We stopped for takeout pizza on the way to the nearby airport and Buddy’s was a pleasant surprise. The takeout pizza was uncut, to avoid cross contamination, and the plastic knife they gave us was sharply and worked well. Only the small pizza is available as GF, but it was a good size snack to share among 3 people.
