Food was good, my son and I didn’t get sick, managers attitude and poor customer service will be the reason I don’t return. I asked for a GF bun and was given a regular bun, when I asked to have a gluten free bun he accused me of not saying that I wanted 1. He re did my order but asked twice to make sure we paid the extra for the bun. Not once did he apologize. So I guess make sure you get a gluten free bun and say it’s allergy!

I had the classic burger, fries (dedicated fryer) and a cider. The burger and fries were very tasty. The staff was knowledgeable on GF. I will definitely be back.

I only ate here once but the service was great. Very knowledgeable and my food preparation was explained. The burger was very good and so was the bun. The french fries are technically cooked in a separate fryer...however...they explained that they merge the frying oils at the end of the day and reuse to fry. So the oil that makes the fries and the onion rings do get mixed together and it’s reused, so there’s cross contamination. It was a good dining experience

All burger options are safe here. I’ve eaten here a couple times and no negative reaction. The burgers are tasty. I would not recommend the fries as they are not cooked on a dedicated fryer. I had the side salad and it was very refreshing and filling!!

Front staff did not know that veggie burger is not gluten free. Tested it with Nima and had to return it back. If I hadn’t, it would have been terrible. When I returned it back, his senior came and said veggie burger is not gluten free but didn’t have the courtesy to apologize. I would have fallen sick if not for Nima. They need to realize they are playing with people’s health here. Got a cheeseburger after that which tested safe with Nima! Three stars only for that effort. I wouldn’t eat here without checking the food.

Super juicy and delicious burger! Gf bun toasted just right so the texture was great. Fries were delicious. I have celiac and had no reaction. We loved this place! It’s casual with ordering at a counter. Top notch ingredients, including grass fed beef, no fake cheese, and even milkshakes with local produce. We were too full to get one though. Highly recommend this place!

My brother and I both have celiac disease meaning we can’t eat any gluten because we are allergic to it. So, we ordered two burgers both with gluten free buns, bacon and one with avacado for pickup. The employee on the phone read back the order exact to us and when we picked it up it was completely wrong. When we picked them up, one had a regular bun on it and one had the correct gluten free bun. Also, one had bacon on it and the other did not. That being said, once they fixed it (I never got the bacon even after they remade it), the food was good but semi-expensive for relatively small portions. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone who also has a serious allergy.

The manager was awesome. He told us they have a dedicated fryer for fries. Had burgers and fries. The manager knew what he was talking about and took care of us! The first employee we encountered when we walked in said nothing except the special gf buns is gf. Ask for the manager when you go in. Food was excellent! Burgers were juicy. They use Udi’s buns for their gf buns. They fry their French Fries in peanut oil.

I've eaten here three times now and I have yet to get hives or have any other sort of allergic reaction, so I'd say they're safe! Not to mention the gf buns are soft and fluffy, and the burgers are really good.

Staff seemed knowledgable about gluten and went through our order a couple times to confirm that they had it right. Food was quite good. We were not warned about any cross-contamination with the fries as I've seen others mention here but also didn't seem to cause a reaction.

i am celiac. People working here are friendly and knowledgeable. I was about to take a bite into the burger when I thought to ask "this bread is gluten free, right?" (the bread just seemed too 'spongy' for being gluten free) and the young man looked and said no. so he took the entire dish back, apologized and told me I would get large fries without charge. and so it happened. the burger bread and fries were delicious! and I felt fine afterwards.

I had dinner here while in town for a conference. I ordered a gluten free burger, and the woman who took my order asked if it was an allergy or just a preference. I told her I had celiac so she made a point of telling the kitchen staff to keep it separate from anything with gluten. The GF bun was unusually good, as was the rest of the burger, and the lavender mint lemonade was delicious. I had no trouble after eating here, and had such a good experience, I went again on my last day in town to make sure I would be okay on my flight home the next day. On that occasion, they were out of GF buns, so served my burger on lettuce with no up-charge. Equally positive experience. Highly recommended!

Very good, and a knowledgeable staff as well. However, in the height of comic-con, there is the possibility that they a) may not have gluten free buns, and b) may have issues with cross-contamination.

We loved the burgers and fries here! The 3 members of the family who had gf buns said they were great. We were warned of the possibility of cross contamination with the fries even though they fry them separate from the onion rings. No one had a problem even our youngest daughter who has celiac the very worst. Such a fun find on our way to the Padres game!

Delicious! Ate here twice in two days and felt awesome after each time. Safe for celiacs! Fries are cooked in same oil as onion rings though so they aren't safe. I got the classic burger both times and they toasted the GF bun mmmm. I also tried the chocolate shake and the rootbeer float and they were both delicious.

all patties are cooked on the same flat top, not safe for celiac. the staff did mention how they have a dedicated spot for the gf buns, but still because of the possible cross contamination with the patties i couldn’t get anything. if you don’t have celiac or aren’t very sensitive you should be fine, but otherwise i wouldn’t take the risk.

taste rating is irrelevant as i could not get anything

Love burger lounge especially the paleo /keto burger on lettuce with bacon and more. I can never get a straight answer from this place whether they have a separate fryer so we generally avoid the fries— huge bummer.

Dairy free shakes are awesome. Overall great burgers and they were knowledgeable safety wise except for the fryer.
