Burger Monger

I went to Burger Monger tonight and it honestly did not disappoint! I ordered the Monger burger with a gluten free bun and their very vanilla milkshake. My friends and I shared the sweet potato waffle fries and I made sure to ask them if they can cook it in a GF version and they assured they would use different oil and method. This place kind of reminded me of like a shake shack or five guys!

Did not get sick. The burger was delicious. If you want a little grease at a fast food joint this is the place. Everything tasted great. They understood cross contamination. I think it is safe.

What a great experience! This is the first burger place I was able to eat as if I wasn't gluten free. The staff was great! The food was amazing! Definitely my new go to spot for a burger and fries!

I am a very sensitive celiac, so normally I would never eat at a fast food-type place, nevertheless order delivery from one because it would make me extremely nervous to not be able to talk to them in person and see them make my food. I had eaten here a couple times in person though, and they were always really careful and friendly, so today I tried ordering delivery. I called ahead of time to tell them that I was placing an order and that it's really important that nothing get cross contaminated, and the girl on the phone was helpful and said that she would make sure they knew to be extra careful. The burger was so good, and they wrote a note on the bag that they cleaned the grill and took extra precautions! I have had absolutely no gluten reactions at all. They have gluten free burger buns AND their fryer is gluten free, which is hard to come by! I would highly recommend this place for people with celiac if you inform them of what they need to do ahead of time!

Each time I have been at the South Tampa Burger Monger location, the staff has been very knowledgeable regarding my GF dietary needs. The fries are cooked in separate oil. Hamburgers are great, served on GF buns.

Staff was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. Dedicated gluten free French fry frier. Delicious gluten free bun. Sweet baby rays bbq sauce (which after research, is gluten free) and the only seasoning on the burger is salt and pepper. Also here is a lettuce wrap burger option on the menu. Best burger place I’ve been to so far.

AMAZING GF BUNS, BURGERS, AND FRIES. I’ve eaten here three times already and haven’t gotten sick. They are super familiar with celiac and very careful. Would highly recommend.

I have eaten at this location several times and service was always excellent and attention to CC. Today I left without ordering. They were not busy. They young man taking our order was wonderful. The guy at the grill not so much. The fryer still has sign up gluten free but admitted not GF anymore and need take sign down. I asked if they could change gloves for my burger and take precautions. When the young man let him know allergy…. a smirk , roll eyes and and ok! We left! If you can’t accommodate then just nicely say so! They had been closed due gas leak and literally we were first ones there to reopen! If celiac do not eat at this location!!

This place used to be awesome but not any longer. No more dedicated frier and for a while they still did ok with GF buns but now not even that. They can't keep staff so no one is ever trained or cares to give you decent service. Don't go here if you have celiac
