Tell them you have celiac or a Gluten allergy and they will take the extra precautions to prepare your food. I normally order orginal cheeseburger no bun also no lettuce. There lettuce wraps suck and there GF buns remind me of the nasty patty on health inspector epsiode of spongebob.
Stopped here on the way to visit Mt. St. Helens. I was somewhat leery of the idea of fast food before spending the better part of the rest of the day in the car, but was very impressed by the staff's understanding of cross contamination. This was the first time I had eaten fast food fries in a year!
Dedicated fryer (you'll want to confirm during your visit), and my burger was delivered in pieces for me to assemble, with the gluten free bun delivered - warmed - in its original factory sealed plastic wrap. The burger was really good.
I wanted to try a shake, but I don't trust shake machines that are also used for cookie shakes.
I wish there was a Burgerville closer to home!
Cashier was actually celiac herself and very helpful. Staff was more than happy to change gloves, check ingredients etc. the lady informed us that they had a separate fryer but currently it was onion ring season and the oils often were contaminated. She recommended against ordering the fries. All in all food was as expected and the large fry was more like a med/small. Okay greasy food but celiac friendly.
Very knowledgeable staff! The cashier has celiac herself and told me all about the extra steps they take to ensure their gluten free food is gluten free! They even have a separate gluten free area to assemble the burgers and sandwiches! The fries also have a separate area to ensure they are gluten free as well! I had the grilled chicken sandwich with the rosemary fries and it was absolutely delicious!
their burgers are ok, not great, it's nice they have an option but their bread is a little dry. oh and the fries do not have a dedicated fryer and are therefor not completely gluten free
My son has a wheat allergy. And when I asked about their gluten free/allergen process for food prep they had no problem describing it.
They offered to assemble the burger or heat the bread in its packaging and allowing us to self assemble for 100% verification of no cross contamination. I opted to self assemble.
This is one of the only fast food burger places that I know of that my son can eat at.
Came in late from out of town and read the reviews. All sounded good. Was a little worried when I saw it was fast food. We should have left. Even though they told us what I needed to hear to keep my celiac husband safe, dedicated fryer, they wouldn’t toast the buns, gave us ketchup and mayo in packets, later that night he was very sick. So I would avoid at all cost.
Best fast food place for gluten free burger and fries. They have a separate gf fryer and know without a doubt how to prepare your food if you have a gluten allergy. They also have gf buns and will tell you what things can or can’t be made gf. Have not been glutened here.
