I ordered the fajitas with corn tortillas. It was okay but I prefer the green enchiladas. Cocktails are great. Did not get sick.

Had the chop chop chicken and bacon salad with no cotija. I told the server I was gluten intolerant. I felt OK during and after, it was also delicious.

Pretty good food. I went with the Sonoran Spa Chicken from the gluten free menu, and a side of corn tortillas and guacamole. I had to press a little bit for answers on what was cross contaminated and what wasn’t, but the items I chose ended up being safe. The corn chips are in a shared fryer so stay clear of those. Did not get sick.

I really wish I didn’t get sick from this place because the food is delicious. The server was knowledgeable and there is a separate menu marked gluten free. The server even went out of her way to ask if it was celiac or just a preference. There must’ve been some sort of cross-contamination in the kitchen because I didn’t eat the chips and I still got super sick. I am really bummed that this place is not safe because the food was great.

I had fajitas, which are honestly my favorite option to avoid cc and ensure I have more control over my food. The server was able to add that I had allergies to the order. I did not get sick.

Ate vegan here and it went okay, but there was a bit of mild cross contamination reaction for me.

The restaurant has quite a few options for GF, but there’s simply too much cross contamination. My Nima sensor tested positive on all three “gluten free” entrees. Definitely a spot for gluten sensitive, but not full blown celiacs. I passed on eating of course and waited until I was home.
Such good food, I had the fajitas. I’m pretty sensitive to cross contamination. And I didn’t get sick. Good size menu to choose from as well.

Very good food, kind and understanding staff! I was worried about the food being cc but it was fine. My waitress brought me corn tortillas instead of chips!

Great experience. The food and service was amazing! The wait staff was very sensitive to GF/DF issues and took the time to ensure our food met our needs. Highly recommend!

Excellent dining experience! I had the chicken fajitas. Delicious! Extensive GF menu, educated staff equals an amazing experience! Would highly recommend this restaurant then next time you’re in Bellevue WA.
Yes
GF menu. They are consistently careful about cross contamination and I've never gotten sick from dining in or takeout! Unfortunately, the chips are fried in the same fryer as everything else, only reason for 4 stars.
Yes
Gluten free menu. Service was great, food was delicious. Very knowledgeable about cross contamination and waiter knew to point out that the chips are made in the same fryer as gluten food.
Yes
Just a heads up - although their menu (both online AND in restaurant) says they have GF chips fried in a separate GF dedicated oil, this particular Bellevue location does NOT. I asked for GF menu, prepared to order the Guacamole & Chips - the waiter made sure I knew the chips were GF but they couldn't guarantee no cross contamination because non-GF items are fried in the same oil at THIS location. Otherwise, their GF menu options are great and service is always good here in my experience.
Very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination! The food was very good. The service was great.

Good service. Gluten Free Menu and separate kitchen area
Cactus has a gluten free menu. There are quite a few choices as well. I chose the steak fajitas with corn tortillas. It was all delicious and fresh. The decor and the service is ok but food and drinks were great.
Amazing menu and the staff is so helpful.

We had an excellent experience at Cactus tonight. The gluten-free menu had plenty of options (although their tortilla chips are not GF - bummer!) I ordered the carnitas tacos, which were excellent. When I ordered, the waiter made sure to ask if I had an allergy or if I was ordering from the GF menu because of a dietary preference. I felt great that my order was taken seriously.

Although the gluten-free menu does not include tortilla chips (darn!), the food was good, fresh, and safe for us.

Got super sick eating here. Not safe for Celiac

I've been here three times with my Nima and it's been Gluten Free each time. One of my go to restaurants in Bellevue.

Such a great spot when you crave Mexican! Lots of options. My boyfriend has celiacs and he did not get sick.
Many options that are gf. Fresh and flavorful dishes. A favorite for our gf family. Brunch is also delicious.
After eating at the Alki Beach Cactus multiple times, I had a work lunch at the Bellevue location. Just as previously, at the other location, I was not disappointed. The grilled portobello–vegetable escabeche was delicious, the staff very knowledgeable, and the portion sizes very generous. I appreciated that the waitress asked whether I had celiac disease when I told her I had to eat gluten-free, and that she assured me that she would make a note stating that my food had to be prepared separately. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. I highly recommend this place for celiacs and non-celiacs alike!

Great service and was quick to find out if our daughter was gluten intolerant or celiac. Pointed out immediately she couldn't have the chips. But offered us lots of choices and made sure everything was perfect. The food was amazing and we found several GF items we all loved!
Yes
Love this place! They totally understand celiac. They have a gluten free menu and very knowledgable staff. They understand cross contamination. Delicious food! Only downside-their tortilla chips are not gluten safe (no dedicated fryer) but they are quick to mention that.
Yes
They had GF menu and the food was well prepared. Brought out a separate salsa and guacamole for my food which appreciated. Felt well taken care of

I eat here weekly. I order off the gf menu. The chips are not from s dedicated frier so I avoid those. I always order the crudités to go with the queso guac and salsa. Easy win here. Maybe not on parking but the food service bathrooms bar and tv all slap.

I’m asking the waiter about cross contamination, he was very calm and knowledgeable as if he is asked all the time about it. I got the ancho tacos which were good. I had a little bit of an upset stomach but I don’t think it was gluten but maybe beware of eating the beans??

There aren’t a ton of celiac safe options here, but they have a separate gf menu and the staff is very aware! I’ve tried a few dishes here and haven’t gotten sick. The food is good and it’s a nice option in the area. Celiacs: stay away from the chips!
