Gluten free pizza was delicious and was marked with a gluten free stick (see picture). I’ll definitely return.
I had wheat in my gluten free food
horrible customer service!
They served me pizza with Gluten even though I asked numerous times.
Very tasty pizza served by the manger who also supervises the making of all gf pizzas.
They burnt it and its flat type pizza. Not very good.
Very good pizza! This is pizza you can savior bite by bite. Service was excellent and it was a pleasure to speak with the manger!
They’ve discontinued the Rice Flour pizza crust. Now only serving the Cauliflower crust, this crust is GF, but it contains Parmesan Cheese; I can’t have Cheese so that puts me out. Those Lactose intolerant as I am beware!!! I’m rating it “unsafe” for this reason. I know some of us Celiacs are also Lactose intolerant.. :(
Staff is very friendly and boss is knowledgeable about Gluten Free requirements. Has a seperate gluten free menu.Very clean and nice set up. Great loacation and good prices as well. Highly recommended . Will go back again..for sure!
The level of safety against XC is great. The pizza was just ok. The gf crust was a little undercooked. I'll probably try the cauliflower crust next time. Other than that, I had no reaction. It's also in a great location. My girlfriend and I walked around the mall, ate at CPK, and then went to AMC across the street to watch a movie. The perfect date night (for a couple of college kids).
One of the best GF Pizzas I've had just a bit more in price but worth it. On the other hand we did have a mix up on just about everything we ordered which I thought to be weird because we went over our requests w/the waiter to avoid any problems. Virtually every single thing we ordered was wrong right down to the dressing on our salads. We waited a long while for a waiter to come due to a big group of Prom goers next to us. Then the wait for the food was excruciatingly long so when we did finally get it we were a bit put off by the fact that everything had to be remade the way we originally ordered it in the first place. I was really happy to see the manager was so apologetic & even gave us vouchers for our return visit. It's surprising what we're able to forgive when someone is nice about it. It made all the difference in this review & our experience there. I will say that their bottomless lemonades are really good & the GF pizza crust tasted just like I remember non GF pizza crust tasting. I hope next time we go that there won't be another prom night to compete with. CPK has always been a favorite of mine so I do plan on returning. Thanks California Pizza Kitchen!
No GF options!!! Despite information I found online before my trip, they do not have gf options here.
They have a gluten free menu, which its a good list! I ordered the cauliflower crust with pepperoni....got through my 2nd slice and started having a reaction to the pizza. The pizza is super greasy which i think thats why i had a reaction. Ive eaten at other gluten free pizza places and never had a reaction like this.
We were the first customers of the day and ordered two pizza to-go (1 regular and 1 GF). It took over half an hour for us to receive our order. The server at the register was kind, but we did not get any acknowledgment or attention from anyone else the whole time. One of the pizzas was sitting on the counter for 15 minutes while we were waiting for the other to finish baking. It was served to us really cold and was not appetizing at all. The GF pizza was stuck to the bottom of the box and whenever I tried to grab a slice, half of it came off and I wasn't able to eat it uless I scraped it off the box itself. Very disappointed. If we were not in a rush we would have asked for a refund immediately.
I called to place a to go order and explained I was celiac and immediately was put through to the manager. Their manager was so thorough with my order, asking lots of clarification questions which made me feel super safe eating there. Their gluten free pizza is delicious as well as their Cobb salad, which is also gluten free. I recommend!!!
Their GF pizzas are guaranteed gluten free, but you can also order many other GF items that the ingredients themselves are GF, however they cannot guarantee no cross contamination on the GF non-pizza items.
Eaten here probably close to one hundred times with 2 diagnosed family members with Celiac. Never had a problem - not one!! You need to ask for their GF menu and order from it. California Pizza Kitchen was trained by GIG and rolled out their GF menu October 2013. They have 4 pizzas - all excellent. The cauliflower crust is incredible! If you order cauliflower crust - needs to be one of the pizzas from the GF menu. The GF crust tastes more delicious to me than their regular crust. My celiac family members have dined here many many times successfully. CPK understood what needed to be done and the food was delicious!!! Well done!
Visited CPK at the Stoneridge Mall. My GF pizza was delivered and looked exactly like other family members pizza that non GF. I questioned the delivery person who reassured me it was GF. I left and within a short time was ill with intense stomach pains.
They have the GIG certification and take lots of precautions. Eat here often and have never gotten sick. Their traditional GF crust is OK but their new cauliflower crust is delicious! Gets nice and crispy and you can get their signature BBQ chicken pizza on the Gluten Free Menu.
My server wasn’t too knowledgeable about gluten free things aside from the certified gluten free pizzas. BBQ, margherita, pepperoni and cheese. I had the bbq. It was really good. They have a cauliflower crust too that’s supposedly gluten free. I didn’t try it this time. I didn’t get sick and my pizza was pretty tasty. I couldn’t find an allergen info sheet on their salad dressings and nobody seemed to know but I had the ranch and I was fine.
NOT SAFE!!!!!!!!!! I honesty wish I could give them zero stars. I had three managers, a host, and a chef promise me it was safe. Next thing I knew, I was in bed for a week. I had never been “glutened” that badly. After telling management what happened, the guy said nobody should have promised me non-cross contaminated pizza (he was one of those that said they could easily accommodate celiac and make a 100% gf pizza). They’re dishonest and an easy way for a celiac to get sick.
They have a few GF pizzas but not too much else. I got the BBQ chicken on the GF cauliflower crust. It was amazing! Our waiter was very knowledgeable as to what I could and couldn’t have. He also let us know how they prepare GF in the kitchen. There’s only a select few pizzas GF because they only keep a few ingredients in a separate spot just for GF. They also use a different stove. Didn’t get sick at all!
