California Pizza Kitchen

I visited here this weekend, I am celiac and also have an intolerance to corn. I ordered the cedar planked salmon, the side it came with had corn so I subbed that out for a different side. The wait staff was very careful about my allergy. When the first side I picked didn’t work out due to a threat of cross-contamination, the manager came to the table to explain the issue with me and worked with me to pick a different, safer side. I was very impressed with their carefulness, it put my mind at ease and i had no reaction to the food I ate. The salmon was delicious:) I highly recommend.

I’m celiac and dairy free, nothing in there for me, or others with my same condition.. honestly they’d shouldn’t be recommended for celiacs.. not much of anything in there for celiacs , they’d should improve their service for celiacs, population is growing on celiacs.

The best GF pizza crust I’ve had in a while! My pizza was brought out separately from all the other food and had a different color plate then other plates containing gluten.

Has very limited selection. Left without eating since staff is not educated about cross contamination. My server served bread to another table and with the same hand put down my plate. When confronted manager was amazing but waitress simply couldn't understand the error.

Really good food. Separate gluten free menu is fairly small. The food is safe though.

Food is delicious. They have many gluten free pizzas. They also have a whole section of the kitchen that is certified by the GIG (gluten intolerance group). Very careful and knowledgable. I have eaten there many times and have never gotten sick.

They have two pizzas which they guarantee are GF, but will make any of their pizzas GF (though they won't then "guarantee" no cross-contamination). The pizza is very good.

Eaten here 2x and have not gotten sick. The crust does taste gluten free (find me a gluten free crust that doesn't taste gluten free), but it's what's on top of the crust that is the real deal.

We actually went twice will on vacation in SF.. it was extremely good!! The pizza is cauliflower base and my son looooved it so much we went again..

Impressed that you could ask for their certified GF pizzas on the kids menu. Our coeliac daughter was very happy with her cheese pizza which came out with a GF flag by a differed server with gloves on. No ill effects. It has been very hard finding safe and appealing choices for her on our travels in America so definitely a happy customer.

It’s always a risk at pizza places that aren’t dedicated GF, but we felt assured that the staff takes good precautions to avoid cross contamination here. And the pizza was very tasty.
