California Pizza Kitchen

found out last week I have celiac. this is the first restaurant I've eaten at since. staff was very friendly and explained they have selections on the main menu, but are not celiac friendly; for that they have a separate menu with only a few selections of pizza. Manager came by twice to check on me and asked my honest opinion. when I explained I have nothing to compare, he suggested spin pizza which also is suppose to have GF pizza. the pizza was a little burned around he edges, and the manager offered to remake it. honestly, I didn't think it was terrible just different. I would definitely go back. so far I'm not having any issues to think of cross contamination.

I really wanted to like the pizza. it was rubbery and I didn't really enjoy the pizza. so bummed.

I applaud their efforts- they have 4 different certified GF pizzas. The manager said they have worked for 2 years to perfect them. Unfortunately my pizza was not great. The crust was rubbery in the middle, burnt around the edges. The toppings & spices were heavy in spots & non existent on the rest of the pizza. I've definitely had much much better GF pizza. Sorry - I wanted to love it!

The first gf pepperoni pizza they brought us had burnt edges and looked pretty much indelible. They were quick to offer to cook another one and one of the chefs came out to talk with us. He baked the next one and it was incredible! This is one of the best gf crusts I've had!

Great choices! Never a problem. CPK has become a staple for us because of the varied menu and great taste of the food.

Very good salads and very good GF pizza. Thin crust of course, but texture was great. We got the half size salads BTW. The full size are huge.

Solid choice. No gluten issues. My food came out separate and marked. I have eaten at different locations so I was not worried about cross contamination but some people may be concerned

Eaten here 2x and have not gotten sick. The crust does taste gluten free (find me a gluten free crust that doesn't taste gluten free), but it's what's on top of the crust that is the real deal.

We actually went twice will on vacation in SF.. it was extremely good!! The pizza is cauliflower base and my son looooved it so much we went again..
