Our waiter bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The chef sent out amuse bouche that we’re gluten and dairy free (their strawberry gazpacho was incredible!), and our server checked everything for me. They even had desserts available for me that weren’t on the menu (a choice of three sorbets). The whole experience was excellent, and almost brought me to tears. Not once did the staff make me feel like my allergies were a burden. They seemed to take it as a fun challenge to give me the best meal possible within my limits. 15/10 will go again.

Warm gluten free bread. My waiter was very knowledgeable on gluten free and cross contamination. They were very accommodating! Not gluten free marking on the menu but I could eat almost everything!

Fresh baked Gluten-free bread and clearly marked gf items on the menu make this Charlestons best upscale dining choice for gf diners. GF bread and my own separate butter was brought separate from my husbands bread. I had the carrot soup, beet salad and some side vegetables and everything was wonderful. Lots of good options; I was just in the mood for veggies. I’d say nearly half of the menu items were listed as gf.

Best dining experience. Delicious food and by the first female chef in Charleston. I’m still full. 😂

Food was delicious. Staff was very aware of GF needs and made sure to note GF items as they were put on the table. Seperate GF bread basket. It is a small but very good menu. Note that this is a fine dining establishment. However, we walked in like we had just come from the beach and the staff never even blinked at how we were dressed. But be aware that most of the customers are going to be well dressed.

I went for the 8 courses meal!!! DELICIOUS! I can’t tell which one was the best one! The dinner was one of the best experiences of my life since I learned about my celiac. I am very sensitive to traces and had no reaction. The staff is very knowledgeable about celiac and very nice.

Spectacular Meal 🎉- All the staff filled me with confidence in their GF Knowledge - most things on the menu could be adapted for gluten free- so much so that everyone in our party opted to Go GF so I as the only celiac could taste all the dishes!!! I was served with my own GF bread basket - wonderful to have fresh hot bread again and at the end of the meal I had my own GF petit four sweets too (See Photos) All the dishes we had were superb and I had a choice of desserts (not just creme brûlée!!!) cocktails were fab too! I did not get ill or glutened from any of the six dishes I tasted. A great place for a special meal (3 courses and a drink will be over $100 per person - see menu photo )

Went here last night. Food was excellent and I didn't get sick. Servers were knowledgeable and accommodating. The only issue I had was the bartender (I sat at the bar while my husband had a business meeting) was more concerned with the older people at the bar than the younger ones. I would like to see everyone treated with the same level of attention especially at this price point. 5 stars because the food was good and I didn't get sick.

I asked to be walked through all my options that were both GF and DF. My server was very knowledgeable. I got my own GF bread basket which was pretty tasty. As usual, my options were cut in half because of my restrictions but what I did was was great: salad, South Indian fish and a sampler of sorbets

Brought me my own gluten free bread basket. We had the 8 course tasting menu all gluten free... amazing! The usual creme brûlée for dessert. I passed on that as I have been on a gluten free diet for 20 years so I am pretty sick of creme brûlée ;)

One of the best restuarants to dine at in Charleston. The staff is very knowledgeable. They even carry GF bread! Their Little Gem salad is amazing and so are their entrees. For dessert they made a platter of GF mini desserts!

One of the best meals was at Charleston Grill. Located in the Charleston Place Hotel (www. charlestonplace.com), this gourmet gem was the fanciest place we dined at during the trip. Our reservation noted gluten-free so an appropriate bread basket was delivered to the table. The dark brown sliced bread was very good and the white roll with a flaky crust was delightful! For dinner we enjoyed the coconut and kabocha soup with a field greens salad. The soup was made with Thai basil, kumquats, candied ginger, mint and cilantro.

Such a great experience. The chef is excellent. Nothing overpowering let's the flavor of the food shine through. I had the venison with fois gras which was excellent. The pork chop that my friend had was excellent especially the sauce. The wine selection was very unique and dessert profiteroles were divine. They were knowledgeable about gluten free foods and options and made my wife feel at ease immediately. Andrew, our server and Femie were great! Would come back here in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend. Music was great addition to the comfortable and classy ambiance.

Amazing service and knowledge of celiac disease! My server (Bryan) was very knowledgeable and went over the whole menu with us. Every time food was brought to us we were reassured it was gluten free and even were sent special dishes from the chef while we waited on our food. I noticed that several times we received a different special from the chef when the usual wasn't gluten free. All wait staff knew I was gluten free and I have never felt safer in a restaurant setting. Highly, highly recommend!

First this is NOT a burger place, it's a very high end restaurant with a high price tag with it. They are very knowledgable about gluten free though and very good food and an extensive wine list.
