I ordered from DoorDash as I am away on business with no way to get around(the hotel didn’t have a microwave). I’ve just in the last 6 months discovered I am unable to have Gluten without serious consequences. I am still new and unsure of how much cross contamination impacts me, so I’m not an expert, especially while away.
I ordered from here as there are multiple designations that say gluten free. When the bag got here there was blatant disregard to everything being ordered gluten free, they put bread in the bag right on top of fries that were not sealed, they had croutons on the salad (even crossed out the gluten free on the receipt attached.) I ate the burger as per pictures it did look like a gluten free bun. It was obviously a mistake as I am already feeling extremely bloated

I am not only a Celiac person but also a employee of the Cheesecake Factory. I have noticed it has gone downhill when it comes to Being taken seriously when it says gluten-free on the ticket. I have tried to eat at work many times and I get sick every time whether it’s a salad, burger or pasta. I have said some thing to not only the kitchen managers but also my regular managers and nothing has changed. I will be updating if it does. Don’t want my fellow celiac’s getting sick. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great restaurant and has great food and I love working there just wish the kitchen took it seriously.

One mention of allergies throws the kitchen in a head spin and they play it safe to the point where it's almost insulting.
The Cheesecake Factory has an extensive gluten free menu. Gluten free options include pasta, burgers (with buns), and cheesecake for dessert.
For a chain, I can always count on their GF menu to be consistent from place to place . We had the GF corn cakes as an appetizer and I enjoyed the GF Shepherds Pie.

Read reviews of the American restaurants that this resto is unsafe but decided to try it myself at the Toronto location. DONT GO. They had some GF items listed on the menu but it’s such a large restaurant that they don’t give enough care to celiac clients. Pretty sure my GF tacos were actually flour tortillas and k was unwell the next day. There are some GF cheesecake options which I’m a bit more confident about because they’re pre-made. But do yourself a favour and go somewhere else to be safe

*update* Since that great experience I have been back twice. The first time, the server told me that they could NOT cook the gf pasta in separate water so I had to get a bun less burger. Oh well.
The second time, I ordered the garlic pasta again and this time the server went and asked the chef if they could accommodate to prevent cc. He assured me they could. However, I had a reaction shortly thereafter. They just don’t seem consistent.
*original post* Had a great experience and the server was knowledgeable. She asked if it was an allergy or preference. When I told her, she said the cooks will change their gloves, etc. Items on menu are marked with gf options. I asked about the gf pasta and she said they will cook it in separate water from regular pasta.

I’ve ordered gluten free from them multiple times and feel the overall quality of Cheesecake Factory has gone downhill. It’s tasteless.
The entire wait staff were incredibly attentive to my requests for gluten free dietary needs. They even came back to tell me one of the dressings I thought was gluten free, wasn’t and offered another! Wow! Great attention to detail! So appreciative of them. I celebrated my 48th birthday and was able to also get the gluten free/sugar free cheesecake with strawberries which was amazing! I waiting 24 hours to write this review to ensure no side effects.
