Used to go frequently before covid …. However they are a busy location and making it very hard for them to keep track of cross contamination …. Got sick here more than once so I stopped going.

Not all Chipotle’s are created equally. Michelle at this location immediately removed gloves and thoroughly washed her hands and lower arms, she got rice and beans that was on reserve (for the next refill). She took all the necessary steps to minimize cross contamination with a smile. No signs of being bothered especially since a line was forming. We need more Michelle’s. I got a rice bowl, with beans & fajita veggies. I avoid the cold toppings because of the standard use of hands or spoons touching flour tortillas.

Update: Went back and got glutened, so reducing rating I will only eat at this location if Michelle is working.

Notes

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.

From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

It's hit or miss with this location, but I had the best experience yesterday. A lady was working the entire front on her own (register and everything), so I was expecting chaos and stress. It wad a little wait, but not bad. She changed her gloves after ringing up the ringing up the previous customer (standard practice after touching money). I mentioned GF needs and she was on it! Including getting our cheese from a fresh bucket so it wouldn't be contaminated. When I said thank you for being careful, she said that she never knows if it's serious or not, so she's always very careful.

My order is typically wrong when ordering online at this location, so I always go through the line to order now.

I’ve never been sick, though!

Chipotle aka the loml. I trust them with my soul. If I jumped out of an airplane I know chipotle would be there to catch me. I would usually marry it if I could. Yesterday tho, I got cheated on. Usually we are very good at communicating my gluten disease. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT WE UNDERSTOOD ONE ANOTHER I get betrayed. Usually chipotle is a good pregame meal, no not today. They game me some gluten. I saw that chipotle again today on the field. For these reasons I no longer support chipotle.
