I love Chipotle but this location was not up to the usual experience. There was a weird flavor to the rice or pico as well. Both my husband and I (he’s not GF/Celiac but I am) had indigestion the next day.

Notes

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.

From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

I eat here all the time and have never gotten sick. Just ask them to change their gloves how to get a burrito bowl to go. All of the meat and toppings are gluten free. Yummy too!

Horrible attitude when asked to change gloves for gluten allergy. The employee rolled eyes and was very rude. Made comment that they had already changed gloves and didn't want to do so again. Very upsetting for someone for gets so sick from anything gluten. Awful attitude. Awful service. Super disappointing.

I get sick about 50% of the time from this Chipotle. They're occasionally really good about changing gloves and getting out fresh lettuce but it's hard for them to totally avoid cross-contamination with their setup.

Chipotle had become my go-to fast food restaurant, but this particular location was horrible. As I do at all chipotles, I told the first person on the line that I have celiac and asked that he change his gloves and clean the line. He was clearly annoyed. He got to the cheese and I asked him to get fresh cheese because they pick cheese out with gloves that have touched flour tortillas. Again he was annoyed. He then asked if I wanted lettuce, I said yes and before I could say anything he picked lettuce from the cross-contaminated container. I explained that the lettuce he put on was surely contaminated and he looked at me disgusted and asked, "so you want me to throw it out and start over?" Indicating that he thought that was asking too much. I told him not to bother and started to walk out. I turned around and asked for a manager. She said, "we can make you another one." No one ever once apologized. They made me feel unwanted from the start. I won't be back.i would have rated it zero but you have to rate at least 1

Ordered online & used “***GLUTEN ALLERGY***” as the order name. They were generous with portions and no issues whatsoever.

I always order bowls from chipotle. Usually, I do not mark in my online order that I have an allergy, but I would advise that symptomatic celiacs tell their cashier that they have an allergy. I have never been sick on my chipotle bowls!

Never get a corn tortilla as they warm them on the same surface as the wheat tortillas, and honestly shouldn’t get anything on the menu that isn’t sealed off. However, I get a bowl every time, and I’ve never had a reaction (even with being highly reactive to gluten). That doesn’t mean that it won’t happen, because it can, but I’m saying it’s unlikely.
