Great food! We had a serious mosquito problem while we were there, so bring bug spray. Waiter was knowledgeable about gluten free options.

Great options from the GF menu. I got the ribeye, which was super delicious and I didn’t get sick. They even have crème brûlée for dessert! Staff are knowledgeable about cross contamination.

This place never disappoints. I ordered the blackened tuna from the GF menu. They will also modify other items if possible. This is the best GF in the area. The same group has Cosmos which is also excellent. They are hosting a gf baking class next month. I am not a baker but am going anyway.

We had a great meal on a Sunday brunch. They had a separate GF menu with lots of options. I had grilled catch of the day, cheese grits, and vegetables. All food was great, and everyone at the table also had a great meal. Highly recommended for anyone on vacation.
Also, they have a separate baked goods section as you leave. I didn't expect to find anything gluten free there, but they had a peanut butter chocolate fudge that was amazing. I ate it fully expecting to get sick from a cross contamination, but I didn't! Give it a try!

It was great that they had a gluten free menu, but waitress really did not address any allergy issues. Large and very busy place, so I just hope they prepared my food safely. The meal was expensive and mediocre at best. Not worth the money.

We had a wonderful experience at Cobalt. There was a gluten free menu and the server was knowledgeable of what was gluten free. The corn tortilla chips are fried in a shared fryer so there is cross contamination for fried items. I got the red fish, Parmesan risotto and green beans. I also tried my husbands fire roasted grits and everything was to die for. We had had to be crab dip which was gluten free and tasted great.

Told waitress I had a wheat and corn allergy (celiac + grain intolerance) and she was super interested and accommodating. I was going to get the shrimp and grits plate and sub mashed potatoes for the grits, so she rang it up as the fried plate instead so I got an extra side. Had no issues!

Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about what my son could and could not have (gluten and dairy allergy). He was very specific about his orders to the kitchen and our food came out perfect!!

They have a gluten free menu with decent options.
Yes
Some of the items listed as gluten free are actually NOT gluten free due to a shared fryer! Luckily, my daughter informed the waiter that she has Celiac (the waiter had never even heard of Celiac Disease) and the manager came out and told us that what she ordered is not actually gluten free. It was extremely frustrating because she was excited about what she had ordered. She ended up just getting salad and mashed potatoes, which you can get almost anywhere for half the price. WHY ARE NON-GLUTEN FREE ITEMS ON THE GLUTEN FREE MENU??!!??
No
Food was great. Had separate GF menu. Waiter was not on it. Looked tired so probably not his norm.
Yes
They have a separate gf menu with several salads, several sides, fish, steak and chicken. I had the grilled swordfish with jambalaya rice & green beans. My son had the shrimp and grits, my husband had the red snapper with rice & asparagus. My favorite meal this vacation!
They have a gluten free menu with many options. I got the blackened mahi-mahi with Parmesan risotto and green beans and it was the best meal I had on Orange Beach!
I really can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The gluten free menu is extensive, the food is delicious, and the servers are either knowledgeable or they ask. I wish we had eaten here every day when we were in the area.
Yes
This place is the best. A dedicated gluten free menu and knowledgeable staff. If cross contamination isn’t a concern, they’ll fry your fare in corn breading instead of flour. Will eat here again!
Yes
Dedicated gluten free menu With plenty of options, super helpful with egg, sesame, and dairy allergies too. I had the blackened tuna salad which was amazing - lots of variety and plenty of fun besides just greens.
Excellent experience. Their GF menu was clear and the wait staff was well-informed. One of the best meals we have ever had in the Gulf area.
We visited again in June 2018 and had yet another great experience. The restaurant is celiac-friendly and has some of the best food in the Gulf area.
Yes
My husband and I had the swordfish special and it was excellent! The gf ribeye was a little tough. Our waiter (although a little goofy!) was knowledgeable about gf and they have a gf menu.
Yes
They have a separate gluten free menu. I had the catch of the day which was sword fish. It was amazing! The atmosphere and service was great! We sat outside and watched the sunset . It was very romantic. My husband gets big brownie points .
Fantastic food and service! Our waiter was very knowledgeable and the gluten free menu was extensive. We will definitely go back next time we visit.

Back for another visit! Again, food was wonderful! The red fish with risotto and asparagus didn't disappoint. Very good food with a lot of choices. I am putting this on my list to visit when I come to the beach.

We are here a few nights ago. They had a good selection of gluten free options. I had the bronzed grouper with creamy Parmesan risotto, and it was delicious! My husband had the shrimp and grits so that we could share, and it was good too. Then we shared the crême brûlée for dessert. Great option for a nice dinner!

Gf menu, food was amazing. The wait...well that's another story.
Pricey but so worth it! I had the planko breaded grouper over parmesan risotto and it was absolutely delicious!
GF menu! Great food! I had crab claws & a buffalo burger 😃
Having celiac disease makes it a challenge to find safe places to eat at. This restaurant has a nice setting by the water and they have a dedicated GF menu. Our waiter, Jonathan was oustanding and knowledgeable about gf. paneed grouper I ordered was delectable! It was serviced over a rice dish that was just as good. For dessert, I ordered a creme brulee to go.My husband, who's not a GF diner had shrimp & grits. He loved it.I'd highly recommend this restaurant.
Yes
There is a GF menu, but it consisted of taking some of the entrees that were celiac compatible and removing any side, topping, or sauce that had gluten, without substituting anything else. Thus, hamburgers could be ordered without buns, the fresh catch of the day comes without rice, and the chicken comes without sauce.
The food was very good though.

Great experience! Gf menu and staff was very helpful. The food was fantastic!

I ordered grouper asked if could cook on clean pan to avoid cross contamination with the grill. Grouper with crab meat on top over risotto. Was fabulous tasting and best part didnt get sick. Great water view as well.
Our favorite place on the coast! Many menu options. Wonderful fish and desserts!
Yes
Great atmosphere, large indoor and outdoor seating. I have never eaten something I didn't like there. The gluten-free menu has 5-6 entrees and several sides and salads. I do not have celiacs, though, so I do not know about cross-contamination other than what they told me.
