They had many gluten free and vegan options. We really enjoyed the strawberry oat bar. They have several gluten free bakery items as well as gluten free bread, bagels and wraps. We went twice during our stay because it was so good!

We loved this place for breakfast so much we ate there two days in a row! Celiac (symptomatic) husband ate here with zero issues. He had the egg man sandwich on gf bread (gf bread was very good) and also had the chorizo gf quiche another day and both were excellent!

Risky! All baked goods made in-house. They use the same baking pans for both wheat and GF. Quiches are baked in the muffin pans. The prep line for the tortilla and sandwich options is cross-contaminated. We gave this one a miss 😉.

Excellent food. Discussed with them that my daughter has celiac and they changed gloves and made sure to adhere to the right protocol. They are very familiar with celiac and gluten free

It was our last day in Breckenridge and we decided to try out this restaurant. I am so happy we did because they had some really good GF options. Since it has been a long since I’ve been able to order a breakfast burrito I decided to give it a try. Very happy I did, it was delicious! They also had some GF pastries that looked good. I will definitely be going back!

OMG. Been to Breck a few times and never heard of this place. Absolutely go to it if you can, they are so kind and have amazing food. I haven’t had a burrito or a quesadilla since being diagnosed almost 6 years ago. Their baked goods are also very good!!

Fantastic lunch and breakfast spot in Breck and very GF friendly. House made GF bread for sandwiches, TONS of options, and their homemade soups are incredible too (I did the bacon corn chowder…phenomenal). Yummy milkshakes, casual setting, super friendly staff. This is my new go-to for gluten free in Breck!

I stopped by for a breakfast expecting very little, but they had so many options! For the first time in my life I got a banana pecan muffin and it was delicious. The tropical smoothie was delicious. The clerk was very knowledgeable and I didn’t get sick. 100% would recommend

Separate case of gf items. I was excited to try some baked goods. Had a lemon poppy seed muffin and a peach pie bar. Got sick 😫 Both were marked gluten free. Probably okay for someone with gf diet, NOT okay for celiacs.

Very disappointed. The GF pastries were in a shared case with gluten containing items. The non-GF items were on the top shelf and you could see their crumbs falling onto the GF food below. They have GF hot items but after seeing how they handled the pastries, I worried about the care they took to avoid CC on all items.

This should be the first stop for any GF or non-dairy travelers. After a frustrating morning walking around main to the other coffee shops listed on this app, only to find that they carry little to nothing gluten free, I came down to Cool River. Not only did they have a huge variety of delicious gf, df, and even paleo bakery items — Muffins, oat bars, cookies the size of my toddler’s face, even baked donut holes — They have a full kitchen in the back and can make hot breakfast and lunch, including actual burritos or sandwiches with homemade bread. Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about allergens. I’m sad that I found this place on the last day of my trip and I’ll be daydreaming of it until I come back!

All of their GF pastries are in a separate case and the staff uses a set of GF tongs to handle them, so I felt super safe. It looked like they had gluten-free items on their menu as well. I had the strawberry oat bar which was SO good.

So sad, I was blown away by the GF selection here. Separate GF bakery shelf with donuts, muffins, etc. However I did get horribly sick after a donut/muffin and chai. Perhaps unintentional cross contact? I would be extra careful choosing items and asking about their baking protocols.

Went twice on my trip. Great little shop, sort of hidden on the side/back of a building on the main drag. I had a vegan breakfast burrito w/ gf tortilla, lemon/blueberry muffin, chicken tortilla soup, and latte. All delicious! Would go back for the soup and muffins next trip! My partner had a large spicy b&g burrito two days in a row. Super friendly staff!

Excellent GF choices, most things on the breakfast and lunch menus can be made GF. They have GF bread that’s made there, GF tortilla and GF plain bagels. I ate here twice on my recent trip and feel very confident that they take care to not cross contaminate. There is no fryer. I had a pork sandwich which was good. The bread was excellent but did fall apart entirely so I had to eat my sandwich with a fork. The next morning we went and I had the cool river burrito with bacon. Tater tots are GF. No reactions. This is a counter order place. Lots of pastries that all looked delicious but not GF. My husband loved his gluten burritos.

I came here because I have celiac and the ratings were great, but I did end up getting sick. I think it was just a one in a million cross contamination thing, since I called the owner after and talked to her about their precautions and the fact that they just hired some new staff. The owner is incredible and was so kind about the whole thing. This place has incredible food and I’ll probably be back, but I’ll make sure to ask for the owner, Diane, to ensure no cross contamination occurs.
