Visited here for the first time and the server was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and gluten allergies. I have Celiac disease and am very sensitive to any cross contamination and I had no trouble here. I ordered the steak salad and they even brought out gluten free bread beforehand! I felt very safe eating at this restaurant and the wine was yummy too!

Although they have many GF options, the waitress I had needs to be trained better when it comes to gluten allergies. I ordered a salad off the gluten free menu and she brought it out with croutons on it. Other than that it’s a great place to go. Just make sure your waiter/waitress understands what GF means.

Staff was knowledgeable about CC. Got a steak and a cocktail and didn’t get sick.

Cooper’s Hawk has an extensive GF menu, their wait staff are extremely knowledgeable about allergies, their food is amazing and I’ve eaten here multiple times now without getting sick. They have outdoor seating, a standing wine bar, a regular bar and formal seating. I would highly recommend this spot!

Sept. 16, 2019. Lunch. Extensive GF menu. Spoke with manager and felt confident that it was a safe place to eat. Food was delicious.

Excellent excellent excellent. Excellent gf menu excellent staff excellent dessertS
Their gf menu is HUGE! And it includes things like pasta and dessert (not just meat and salad)! It is pretty pricey, but the food is delicious and I love having so many options!
Great menu and delicious food! I felt comfortable with the menu choices and the server seemed knowledgeable. He apologized that they were out of gf bread—and I was just happy to know it existed for the next time in there!

Food good. menu extensive. Will go again
I LOVE this place! Their gluten free menu has multiple choices and as someone who has multiple food allergies I have not any problems with getting questions answered and making substitutions. The gluten free chocolate cake is indulgent! Can’t go wrong here!!

By far the most amazing restaurant. There gf menu is about 6 pages long. The food was delicious. I had to go back twice during my stay in Columbus. Seafood, pasta, desserts, and it just one dessert option numerous options in ever category. Amazing job
They have an expansive GF menu and go out of their way to keep GF menu items safe. Staff seems to be at least somewhat trained as well. GF dessert menu options were quite refreshing

Nice to have dessert options besides creme brulee!

The food was good, large gluten free menu.
Very knowledgeable about Celiac. A lot of attention put in to ensuring no cross contamination even if additional dietary restrictions are present.

Great. Even adapted a dish to be both gf and vegetarian: not just taking out chicken from a pasta dish but adding broccoli, roasted carrots and parsnips, which were Delish. Beautiful place with fab wine. Lots of gf choices.
I had the lunch portion of the salmon. All naturally gf options. I appreciated the gf roll. I was looking forward to the gf brownie, but they were out- very sad as dessert is rare for me since I also avoid dairy. A bit pricey, but good; great staff and yummy wine.
Awesome! Staff is great.

5 star + Tons of naturally gluten free options, very knowledgeable staff and the manager always checks to be sure your meal was perfect. And very reasonably priced for what you get.

Food was good. Brownie was very good.

My favorite place! They even have a great gluten free menu

Large gluten free menu, including several desserts to choose from. Food was good, my daughter loved her burger, I enjoyed my portables burger, although the roll was a little crumbly and it was a touch dry. They do have the best iced tea I've ever had- blueberry pomegranate. It was light, not too sweet, but flavorful. I'd come back just for the tea!

Great selection of GF dishes (salads, burgers, entrees). It was wonderful to be served bread, an appetizer, main course and dessert that was delicious and safe.
Cooper's Hawk opened at Easton Town Center in Columbus on Monday this week. Imagine my excitement when I saw they offered a gluten-free menu and my first thought was "I have to try it immediately."
So by Wednesday, I was eating there for the first time. Check out the size of this gluten-free menu....
They even have 5 gluten-free desert options!
I told our waitress about my gluten allergy and she made sure the kitchen knew I was there. They brought out the pretzel bread for my dinner date and a gluten-free bun for me to try.
We started with an appetizer of shrimp wrapped in bacon - delicious. The shrimp were large and I easily got 2-3 bites out of them.
Dinner was the pepper jack, bacon cheeseburger - the bun was a little much for me since I already had one when we first got there so I ended up eating the burger naked. There were several sides I could select from and I ended up with Mary's mashed potatoes.
I got a gluten-free brownie to take home and shared it with my husband. It was simply delicious. Light, fluffy and moist!
The manager even came out after my meal to make sure everything was ok and I enjoyed my meal. He explained the gluten-free process and that they are very sensitive to cross contamination and pride themselves on making safe gluten-free experiences for their guests.
After this tasty meal, I decided to bring my family last night to try something new on the menu. They've already been to all the places around us to eat so it was a great change for them to try something new.
Last night's meal blew the lid off of any other gluten-free meal I've had at other places. Wildfire Chicago is a close second to this dish.
I decided to try something totally new and went with the short rib risotto and it was best decision I've ever made. The meat was tender, moist and fell apart with my fork into the risotto. The sauce was incredible and the truffle oil on top with parmesan shavings tied everything together perfectly.
We ended the meal with some chocolate covered strawberries. They were ok, not the best but then again it's hard to compete with Godiva strawberries. I just didn't think they were ripe enough before being covered in the chocolate.
I do have one comment about the restaurant - we had reservations at 7:30pm. While we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for our table, imagine our confusion when they were quoting people a 2-3 hour wait for a table and then there were at least 10-15 empty tables in the dining room when we were seated. Maybe it was lack of staff, but it was strange in my book.
Gluten free bread was wonderful all the wines are also gluten-free and many options on the main menu that are gluten-free. The food was excellent one of the best gluten-free entrées that we have had in a long time also many dessert options as well which was a plus.

We were excited to find this restaurant, because they seemed to take many precautions and were very knowledgeable about GF options. Our daughter was happy because it tasted good, however, it was obviously not GF, because she was sick for hours.

I ordered delivery because I am traveling alone on business. Very impressive GF menu options, it was difficult to decide. What got me to order was that they have a few GF dessert options. I ordered way too much food, but couldn’t decide. One thing, my food was delivered with a roll and butter, my instinct was that it wasn’t GF even though I have read reviews that they have GF dinner rolls, so I called the restaurant to confirm. It was in fact not GF. One thing my 9 years eating GF is .... if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn’t GF. I was a little bummed, but glad I caught it. The restaurant offered to have GF bread re-delivered. I felt too bad for the delivery person to have to deliver a single roll, and honestly, I could do without it.

My brother is the bartender so a few family members went to visit him during a shift. We sat outside under heaters and felt very comfortable. Waitress was new but seemed knowledgeable and prepared for celiac ordering. Fryer is not dedicated. I chose the steak salad which was very good. Came with a homemade dressing that was gluten free. I believe all dressings were but I’m a little late writing my review. GF bread service was a really sweet gesture for someone who never gets that before dinner snack, but isn’t really that tasty. Ask Hance at the bar to make you an old fashioned for dessert ;)
No symptoms!
