Celiac . They have a large gluten free menu. I haven’t had any problems and I am very sensitive to cc.
Great gf bread, excellent selection of gf food items, including desserts, and good wine too!
One of the beat steaks I have ever had. My best friend is celiac and she was so excited to have a full gluten free menu and so many delicious options. She even got a glutem free roll while I got my pretzel roll! Overall a fantastic experience.
Great GF menu--celiac safe.
Everything made from scratch and prepared in separate area. Never a concern when eating here. Only restaurant I have seen have gluten free dinner bread which is wonderful. Great if you have multiple intolerances. They have it all together and the food and service are superb.
Always delicious. Great gluten free menu. Safe even for highly sensitive. Gluten free bread. Desserts.
Chose this location for Thanksgiving after a great experience at the Merrillville location. Sad to say this was not an overly positive experience. Most of our family members have Celiac, and we ordered from the menu. There were fewer choices than the other location, and there was not a separate kitchen. Waitress suggested fries as a side, but manager told us they were unsafe after they were already on my daughter's plate at the table. We ordered GF buns for both girls' sandwiches, and both came out on a wheat bun. Staff was less than apologetic about the multiple mistakes. Thanksgiving food was not as good as their regular menu items. Bread at this location was different than Merrillville and not as good. Thankfully none of us got sick, so I will go ahead and give 3 stars... Sadly, not sure I will be back despite positive reviews from Celiac friends. My daughter would have been very ill if she had eaten the bread before we discovered the mistakes.
Awesome! Got gluten free bread, and many choices for dinner. Great choice
One of the better GF menus I've ever seen. The staff and atmosphere were awesome. The food here is phenomenal and Celiac safe!
I loved the sweet/romance red wine & the chocolate, but they did feed me regular bread the first time I was there. I ended up sick!
not cheap. but VERY VERY good. solid GF menu homemade GF bread that is better than Udi's even.
Excellent gluten free bread
Our waitress was very nice and told me that they have to fill out a special form to give to the kitchen and 2 manager have to sign off on the entree before it goes out of the kitchen. My burger came with fries (which our waitresss informed us weren’t gluten free) and there were fried onions on the burger (also not gluten free). The chef admired that he made a mistake but I can’t believe how many people my food went through who too made mistakes. Be careful here.
My family and I love this place. Great GF menu.
Excellent food. Great GF roll/bun. Expansive GF menu. We ate in the bar area. I had a chicken sandwich with GF bun. My son had the Caesar salad and a burger with GF bun. Server was excellent. Knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, fries are not gluten free because of cross contamination.
I've been here several times within the last month and the food is delicious and no issues. I've had the cheeseburger the gluten free bread and the appetizer Mexican drunken shrimp. Both servers were very knowledgeable of what I could and could not have.
I absolutely love this place! They have a full separate gluten free menu with apps, meals, and dessert! They take great precaution when cooking too. They offer a gluten free drinks menu on top of the wine, but I wouldn't recommend their speciality cocktails just because it lists some liquors that I don't trust. I typically don't trust bar drinks though. The food they serve is safe and delicious!
Great food and attention to detail. I’ve been here about 8 times, including carry out. (I’m a sensitive celiac.) The menu is extensive. Someone else mentioned they were sick and I don’t understand how that would be if gluten is the only issue and the items were ordered off the gf menu.
This is my favorite nice restaurant in Short Pump. Best to get reservation. Very large GF menu. Wines are very good. Love getting the Brussels sprouts salad or the chicken piccata. They also have a gluten free roll to offer so you're not missing out when the rest of your party is eating the yummy pretzel bread.
Excellent GF menu, everything made from scratch and customizable. Wonderful dessert options too!
I have celiacs and I am very impressed with Cooper’s Hawk. They have an extensive gluten-free menu and it is all made celiac-safe. They clean off surfaces and wash their prep areas to ensure there is no cross contamination. I had the drunken shrimp appetizer & parmesan-crusted chicken for dinner and they were both phenomenal. I had no reactions and everything was amazing. :)
Cooper’s Hawk might be my favorite place to dine GF in the metro area. The staff is knowledgeable and kitchen is trained on minimizing cross-contamination. I have eaten here monthly and never had a reaction. The gluten-free bread is yummy and their menu has countless options. My favorite treat to grab there is the Cheesecake pops!
Love, love, love! The food is delish and they have a gf menu that is actually PAGES long.. so many things to choose from and they know what they are doing. Waitstaff is knowledgeable and don't look at you like you are a pain in the a$$.. lol I have Celiac and ate without an issue They are in Partridge Creek Mall.
Probably the most extensive GF menu I have seen! Staff was very knowledgeable, manager stopped by the table to see if there were any questions about food preparation. They even brought GF bread before the meal was served. Finally felt like I wasn't missing out and could actually have (almost) anything I wanted, including dessert! Will definitely be back!
The good: Nice GF menu - food was good. The bad: took 15 mins after sitting before drink order was taken - two of three drink orders filled and server said they were no longer offering the third wine - so a substitute was ordered. No kidding - took another 20 mins to get it to the table. I won’t be doing this again.
I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints! They have a separate menu for gluten free including drinks. The service is always great but I recommend reservations if going on the weekend to avoid waiting. Great variety of options and the wait staff make good recommendations.
Went here for Father's Day with my celiac husband. Our server was very knowledgeable about GF and their menu has lots of choices. They also bring gluten free bread which is the one my husband has tried. Husband still feels good today so there doesn't seem to have been any cross contamination.
They do a nice job, I have had baby showers, rehearsal dinner and much more here and I haven’t gotten sick. I did have one experience where I didn’t feel confident in my server and the food brought out to me and the manager offered to remake but I chose to not and they gave us a card for a meal on them.
I LOVE this place! Their gluten free menu has multiple choices and as someone who has multiple food allergies I have not any problems with getting questions answered and making substitutions. The gluten free chocolate cake is indulgent! Can’t go wrong here!!
You will not get sick here. They have a separate gf menu and are VERY knowledgable. One of the most knowledgable places ive ever ate at and i was dxed with celiac 15 years ago. It is pricey for the meals for sure and at its core a pretentious wine tasting place. I went there for my bday when i noticed they had a gf flourless choclate cake with whip cream, berries and a rasberry sauce. I would NOT order any entrees from here. Its a wine tasting place so theyre desserts and appetizers are what most people order with wine and not entrees. On a good note, the entrees ate the pricey thing. The appetizers and desserts are more like $$ than $$$. For an appetizer i ordered the mexican drunken shrimp. The entrees arent worth the money in terms of taste, but the appetizers and desserts were beyond incredible. Highly highly recommend this place for its safety, but also the taste of the food. Next time though im only doing the appetizers and desserts. Both of which have plenty of options for someone with celiac.
The server told us that the owners kids have celiac. They were very knowledgeable.
I am hyper sensitive to gluten, I have eaten here 4 times and have had no issues. They have a separate gluten free menu and they avoid cross contamination. Each visit we ate in the bar area. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, and appeared knowledgeable about gluten allergies and cross contamination and were eager to double check with the chefs to answer my questions. The chicken madeira is delicious.
I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Coopers Hawk in Brookfield last night! I had a FULL menu to choose from, including a few app choices, many main dishes, and a few dessert options...not to mention the ability to eat bread at the same time as my non-gf wife! Food and wine were great.
