Gluten free menu; excellent appetizers, entrees and desserts
Update 2020- Doing Delivery and pu limited menu. Make sure you get gluten free menu and explain u have celiac. If you have more allergies then ask for gluten free allergen menu. They are not very up to date with what has soy. I have gone many times in the past year and ask for that menu as well as Ingredients. My servers have been wonderful. Love the wine and wine tastings. 2019-The food was ok. I wouldnt get the fish again. It took along time to get our food. Its a very pretty place. Update May 2019 I had great service and wonderful lunch
BEST GF meal I’ve had in a long time! I had the crispy chicken (something like that) with mashed potatoes. SO GOOD. The owner knows someone with celiac and the menu has a variety of options. I had trouble picking one thing so you know that’s a good thing! Did not have a reaction and I was reassured it would be prepared safely.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The owners sister is Celiac and they go above and beyond to make sure their food is gluten free. They have an extensive gluten free menu and the food is beyond excellent. They have a gluten free bread that is better then some regular breads.
Our waitress Kylie was so understanding to me having celiac. She asked the cooked every one of my questions. Food was delicious! I felt great for the rest of the night!! Definitely recommend, they have a gluten free menu.
I unfortunately got sick here both times I’ve gone. It is a shame because the food tastes incredibly good. I had the drunken shrimp and braised beef risotto both times. I tend to give a second chance to restaurants, but after the second time getting sick I can’t go back.
You can’t go wrong here. Great food, a dedicated gluten free menu, and a manger sign off on every gluten free order to ensure things are done right. They even have freshly baked GF bread to start your meal. And of course 🍷🍷🍷.
Oh my goodness, if you have Celiac and find yourself in Tampa, come here. The gluten free menu is pretty big and lots of variety. Not only was my food safe and tasty, I got a small round loaf of bread. I felt so special.
When an order is placed from the gluten-free menu it gets flagged in their system and a kitchen manager ensures that an area is sanitized and that they use dedicated utensils/etc. All gluten-free food items will come out by the assigned server or the manager, never by another staff member. All gluten-free food items get approved by the kitchen manager as they leave the kitchen.
— Separate gluten-free menu
If you are ordering from the gluten-free menu they will bring gluten-free bread (seemed like just a hamburger bun) plus butter. I enjoyed all of the food I tried: Thai chicken lettuce wraps (same as the regular menu offering, but without the fried wontons and the dipping sauce that contains regular soy sauce), "black and bleu" strip steak chopped salad, and salted caramel creme brulee. All of it was great.
Yummmmy gluten free bread to start out with! And then COUNTRY RIGATONI. Enough said. The best pasta ever. I always try to order something new but always end up getting this entree. Lots of gluten free options.
separate gluten free menu includes Mac n cheese, burgers. good food!
Has own gluten free menu with everything from appetizers to desserts. They also have a gluten free bread that is served before meals. I let the staff know that I had Celiac and they were extremely accommodating. Informed the kitchen who took all necessary precautions. I got the chicken picatta which was delicious. No reaction from the meal! Would eat head again!
One of the best meals I have ever had. The gf menu was extensive and the staff seemed to really care about my dietary needs. I didn’t get gf bread either time I went like the previous reviews stated.
This place is awesome! Wine tasting as we walked in and very cool atmosphere. Perfect place for date night with a huge GF menu. I wanted to order everything on it! We had the Mexican drunken shrimp and it was delicious. Risotto was great and most importantly for me they have a bunch of GF dessert options!!!! Please open a Cooper’s Hawk in the Boston area as I am only in Naples during the winter and I’ll miss it!
Whole gluten free menu and even table bread, super nice staff
I’ve been here multiple times and have never been glutened. They will bring out gluten free bread as a starter. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, food and wine is delicious!
Although they have many GF options, the waitress I had needs to be trained better when it comes to gluten allergies. I ordered a salad off the gluten free menu and she brought it out with croutons on it. Other than that it’s a great place to go. Just make sure your waiter/waitress understands what GF means.
Probably the most extensive GF menu I have seen! Staff was very knowledgeable, manager stopped by the table to see if there were any questions about food preparation. They even brought GF bread before the meal was served. Finally felt like I wasn't missing out and could actually have (almost) anything I wanted, including dessert! Have eaten here several times without any issues!
Great appetizers, entrees, and atmosphere. Nice to have gluten free pasta options. No dedicated fryer. Be sure to make a reservation if going in the evening or on weekend.
I ordered Hummus plate from the GF menu and it came to the table with Pita bread.. I immediately asked the waitress if it was GF. She assured me it was, I jokingly asked her again if she was positive and she said "absolutely we make our pita GF. I ate quite a bit of it and it just kept feeling wrong.. like I could taste the flour.. I then said, Wow these are great, can you ask the chef how they do it- she then seemed nervous. I flagged down another server who then told me he didn't think they were GF.. Finally the manager came out and apologized continually about they were in fact NOT GF. She was unbelievably kind, we had no bill and they gave my friend and I gift cards. They place is awesome and the food is great! I will go back I just really urge people to triple check with servers about the dishes. I would of still given it 5 stars but I feel like death at the moment so it doesn't seem fair :(
Been here twice. They have recently opened and are clearly still working out some staffing kinks, wasn’t a fan of our recent server. But the gluten free menu is huge, lots of yummy options. The appetizers are amazing and they have gluten free bread to start ( upon request) Management is very attentive which we were impressed by when our steaks were sadly over done. So even though our experiences haven’t been perfect we are definitely going back! There’s still lots of stuff I look forward to trying.
They have one of the largest gluten free menus I’ve seen. They do a wonderful job of making allergies known to the chefs. I have other allergies which makes going out to eat very difficult. They are always very accommodating. One of my favorite restaurants.
I did not ask questions about dedicated fryers or space, and I am celiac, so make sure if you are super sensitive you check first. They use Barilla GF pasta and it was great. I had chicken carbonara and it was fantastic. Also flourless chocolate cake. And they brought out a warm GF bread with butter which was delish. They have buns as well but didn’t specify the brand, I don’t like any GF buns so far, but I asked if the warm loaf of bread could be the bun and he said sure...so I would eat a burger there with that as the bun. The menu was a completely separate one you have to ask your server for.
Ate the Dana’s chicken and waiter brought the manager over to confirm they take gluten allergies seriously. Nima tested safe and sensitive celiac no reaction. Gluten free bun was best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!
The kitchen sent my steak out with fried onions (gluten). The waiter, Phillip, is knowledgeable about allergies as he has a shellfish allergy. He took care of everything. He was an impressive waiter.
Staff changed gloves and told me they take gluten allergy seriously. I had risotto with shiitake, corn, spinach. It was delicious and flavorful. Also had gluten free bread on table. Nice amount of items on gluten free menu. Staff was very attentive.
They have a pretty extensive gluten free menu and seem to take great care in preparing gluten free food so as to avoid cross-contamination. I have never had a reaction and have eaten here many times. You can ask them to toast a gluten free bun to bring you in lieu of the gluten bread they bring for the non gluten free diners. Unfortunately there is no dedicated fryer which is why I’m only giving 4 stars.
The waitress knew that they “take it very seriously” and couldn’t explain more. He came out right away and let us know they change gloves, have a dedicated grill and utensils, Mark the food, and have specific people that are allowed to handle the food. And the gf bread they bring us soooooo good!
No issues getting sick and have been a few times. One waiter needed to be reminded apparently of gluten free with an item on the gluten free menu was ordered.. He brought me two gluten free shrimp after and said he wouldn't charge me 🤦🏼♀️ this most recent time I just made sure to say gf with each item to be safe. I haven't sick any of times I have eaten here.
