Love this place. Had the gluten free pasta with the rosa cream sauce and added mushrooms. Delicious!

Safe and delicious home made authentic Italian!! The owner is gluten intolerant and their kitchen is set up for GF pasta and most of their sauces and menu items are GF or can be made that way. Great value and homey feel with kind and attentive wait staff!! We have been several times and have had a great experience!!

The food was excellent! Husband and I shared the Pollo Parmigiana with a flourless chocolate cake with almonds for dessert. The wait staff was so friendly. Next time we are in the San Diego area, we will return!

Soo so happy to have a delicious Italian option that is safe! It’s super authentic and worth the price! Most of their pasta sauces are gluten free, then they make it with premade gluten free noodles. I’ve been twice and didn’t get sick either time. It’s about $20 per person

After reading the other reviews here I went and tried it tonight. Food and service was excellent. The menu is clearly marked and the waiters truly seemed to understand Celiac needs. I cannot wait to go back and try the other sauces. There were a lot of different sauce options.

WOW!! I am so impressed with this restaurant. First off, the owner Sara is Celiac and we very much bonded over that. Then I found out she has type 1 diabetes like myself too!! The food was incredible. You can order any pasta dish with GF pasta for +$2 and the menu is VERY clearly marked with GF, dairy-free and vegetarian options. Plus the staff is quite knowledgeable if you ask. We ordered a couple of appetizers (artichoke hearts and Arancini) and I got the GF pasta with Vodka sauce. They had Omission beer which was a nice addition to the meal also. I very much trusted that I was eating safely. They cook gluten free food separately, no shared oil or water. Loved my experience here and can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town!

This is our favorite Italian place. Food is freshly made, portions are just right, and owner and staff take cross contamination seriously. They boil pasta in clean water. Their gluten free pasta is pretty good and they can adapt most pasta dishes to be gluten free. They also have several salads and entrees that are GF. The only bummer is that they don’t have any GF desserts.

Amazing food with lots of options!
Super impressed by how aware the staff is, how conscientious they are about getting it right, and most of all by how darned good the food is. New favorite place to take friends and family!

To Go Order. Service was friendly and the menu marks items that are, or can be, gluten free if requested. For $2 additional you can request GF pasta (made from quinoa and corn). I got the salad with beets, a pesto GF pasta with chicken, a side of spinach sautéed with garlic and a berry panna cotta. I enjoyed it all. The pasta was al dente, 2” long with thick, slightly curved edges. The sauce was tasty but a bit thin (no basil leaf, nut or cheese bits). The salad with balsamic reduction and goat cheese was refreshing. The spinach, while a tad salty (and I love lots of salt), was nicely cooked with perfectly roasted garlic. The panna cotta was a satisfyingly creamy vanilla pudding-like dessert topped with a just-short-of-tart berry purée.

The restaurant has a lot of items on there menu that are labeled GF. The waiter that we had was very knowledgeable about what wasn't labeled GF and could be made into GF.
I ordered the Pollo Al Limone. It was very good and someone else at our table did order pasta. They said that the Vodka was good and that they liked that the salmon wasn't a whole piece and was cut into bite size pieces.

Delicious, decent prices, and tons of options! Super nice staff and cozy atmosphere! I could taste the freshness of the pesto! Plus, fantastic desserts too. The BEST flourless cake I've ever had! They're usually too heavy, so I was hesitant, but I highly recommend it!!! well earned 5 stars!
Lots of Gluten-free pasta sauce options. Gluten free pasta is Garofalo made from rice and quinoa. Had the SuperAlfredo sauce. Very tasty.

Very friendly and knowledgeable about celiac disease and proper food safety to avoid cross contamination. Good gluten free pasta.

Proscuitto was melt-in-your-mouth. GF pasta in a meat ragout was spectacular. The chicken parmesan had an amazing cream sauce. Numerous gluten free options well indicated on the menu (including a GF beer). I will definitely go back again!

Grossly overpriced, food lacked spices and flavor.
