Rosa, our server, was absolutely wonderful. We have two Celiacs and one peanut allergy and she was so knowledgeable, had gloves changed, let all the staff know about our food allergies, and overall, so attentive. Food was so good! Great experience and highly recommend.

They have an entire gluten free menu and the staff was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and what my husband could or couldn’t eat there.

We had excellent meals at Cucina South last night. There is a gluten-free menu, and it closely matches the main menu, with gluten-free modifications. I chose the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. The shrimp, sausage, and tomato sauce were excellent, with just a hint of heat (extra chili pepper sprinkles were offered in case I wanted to turn up the heat). We also had dessert - a wonderful rich chocolate mousse. Yum! The only slight negatives were that there was no gluten-free bread (their sister restaurant, Bar Zin, has wonderful rolls!) and the fettuccine was overcooked and mushy (but the dish was so large I didn't need the noodles).

Excellent, great service & very accommodating of multiple food allergies. One of us was GFCF & had veggies over GF pasta in marinara sauce & the other GF pesto chicken over pasta. Great food, big portions, good price, yum. No GF bread but GF menu great, loved our server checking all with the chef!

Small, friendly restaurant with a great gluten free menu. The server was knowledgeable and the food was great!

The staff was knowledgeable and they had a gluten free menu. The Short Ribs came out with ravioli (not gluten free)... when I pointed it out they quickly corrected the issue and prepared a new dinner with gluten free pasta. Our gluten detection dog “all cleared” the salad. It had been a long day and was sound sleep before dinner came out. Like any place... you do have to double check the food. They are getting 4 stars because they quickly and fully fixed the issue and the food was excellent!

Excellent service. Excellent food. One of the best experiences we've ever had. Todd was a superb waiter. And the chef is second to none. Very highly recommend!

I had a fantastic meal and did not react( I have celiac disease). On the menu it states to ask the server for gluten free options. The staff is very knowledgeable about gf options and did not make me feel that my order was an inconvenience for them. They let the chef know I had celiac and assured me that they were aware of how not to contaminate the food with gluten. They even made my risotto from scratch with a vegetarian stock. I highly recommend this restaurant when you are on Amelia Island.
