Most amazing desserts ever, that also happen to be gluten-free. Absolutely cannot go wrong. This place is a must-visit for anyone gluten-free. Cinnamon rolls, cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, lemon bars, challah, pizza bread, huge variety of bars, the list is endless!

The butter bar was by far the best thing. The ding dong tasted like a real ding dong! Oatmeal cookie pie thing was AMAZING. However, the cupcake I ate wasn’t any better (or worse) than Trader Joe’s cupcakes. All the other stuff is great though. I bought 4 items for only $15.

100% gluten free! I have ordered two birthday cakes through them and they have so many options. Also, they have so many different pastries inside. They not only have gf options but vegan as well.

Very accommodating and knowledgeable. Stay away if you have a severe nut allergy but I get their gf vegan cupcakes and oatmeal cookie all the time and they're divine. They make me feel normal

I walked in the door and immediately smelled the butter and sugar! Yummmm! 2 display cases of beautiful baked goods! Wonderful, friendly bakers, and the full box of goodies cost less than I thought it would!! Everything is our favorite so far! Can’t go wrong.

This is a delightfully delicious little neighborhood bakery which also so happens to be dedicated gluten-free. Though they're small and have just one food case, they pack a ton of variety and interesting flavors into their offerings. We tried a selection of bars--s'mores bar, seven layer bar, and cranberry almond bar--and all were fantastic. We took an angel food cake to-go and loaded it up with strawberries and whipped cream at home. Everything we tried felt deceptively gluten-free; it was hard to believe it truly was safe to eat!

This is the best cake I’ve had since becoming gluten free. It’s just as good, if not better, than gluten containing cakes. We had the funfetti cake, as well as red velvet Cakepops. I’m in Celiac heaven!!!

A must-stop if I’m going downtown Chicago. I was late to an NFL game because I had to stop here 😂🤷🏽‍♀️. The oatmeal cream pies are my favorite.

Excellent. They made my personal size wedding cake. Their staff was so friendly and helpful. I chose their carrot cake and was so happy with the taste and presentation. It was gone fast and I only had one piece.

I love defloured bakery! I've been eating their baked goods for years. It's so nice to be able to find their products in stores like Whole Foods. And now they have a store front in Andersonville and have even more products! So far I've tasted their cream puffs, s'mores bar, savory scones, pecan bar, carrot cake, chocolate chip cookies, and probably more! Some of the best gf desserts I've ever had!

Absolutely delicious! Cupcake, cake pop, and pumpkin coffee cake all got rave reviews! You'd never know they were GF. So happy we stumbled across this place. Staff was so friendly and am delighted to know they do special order/birthday cakes, too! Can't wait to go back!

I decided to try this place out because they are now a dedicated facility. I bought about six or seven different items and they were all amazing. I have no idea how their pastry is as amazing as it is, but if you haven't tried it you need to! A few things I'm looking forward to are their pumpkin offerings and the person there also told me they would be doing some pot pies closer to winter.

NEW INFO REGARDING DEFLOURED: They have a new store front. It is now open at 1477 W. Balmoral, Chicago. They DO have their own kitchen space here and are free from any cross-contamination so they are now 100% celiac friendly. Very informed and friendly service. Delicious treats. THANK YOU!!

I've really enjoyed their red velvet whoopie pies. However, I have a habit of really reading the fine print of labels; and although they advertise themselves to be gluten free and in a dedicated gf facility, they are, in fact, in a shared facility with others whose euipment processes wheat/gluten. I gave defloured two stars for that reason. They're deceptive in their business practices and definitely not safe for Celiacs.

Omg the dessert was amazing. It should be noted this currently is a production kitchen and not a place to buy sweets. The owner happened to have the door ajar and goodies to goto farmers market when we walked up. Please see her at the following farmers markets: Sunday Glenwood Market, Wednesday night Andersonville Market, and a market in Evanston. She soon hopes to have a proper store front.
