Dish Society

Before tonight I would have given Dish Society a high score but I was definitely glutened and cross contaminated. See pic.

I ordered the salmon and seasonal vegetables. I also mentioned I had a gluten allergy when ordering. After about 5 bites of veggies I noticed the big piece of fried something that is off the plate in this picture. Then I noticed several more fried crusty things. I have had this dish many times and fried extras isn’t normal. Ugh! I did speak to the manager and pointed out the issue. I got a free snack or dessert card. 🤦🏼‍♀ Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Offers a variety of gluten free options. Food and drinks are always excellent. Patio is very nice and dog friendly.

I had pancakes!! First time in 4 years I had pancakes for breakfast dining out & they were so good I didn’t need syrup. A Carmel latte with coconut milk was such a treat. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the menu & suggested modifications to almost everything they offer.

Really great brunch spot! It was order at the counter, and the cashier was very knowledgeable. She asked if me ordering gluten free was an option or an allergy and they took the proper precautions to make sure there was no CC. Most of the menu can be gluten free - there were options for bread, pancakes, bowls, tacos, and so much more. Definitely recommend!

I love DS overall but they recently ditched the GF pancakes indefinitely. Not sure why. I know a lot of people that would order them over the regular ones. We now have to find a new gf pancake restaurant. Good luck.

Though the menu and their website say gluten free, when I attempted to order anything gluten free for breakfast, they said that they have no gluten free pancakes or toast options, but that they could make any dish gluten free. I’m skeptical and a little disappointed.

Be careful with the GF pancakes. Used my new Nima sensor and found gluten with two separate visits and testing multiple pancakes. They were willing to make a new pancake and explained that their mix is made with corn and rice. Unfortunately, not gluten free. Such a bummer because it’s a great restaurant. Lots of other GF options but did not test these. Will try again with something other than GF pancakes.
