Dish Society

Though the menu and their website say gluten free, when I attempted to order anything gluten free for breakfast, they said that they have no gluten free pancakes or toast options, but that they could make any dish gluten free. I’m skeptical and a little disappointed.

The server and cook were not confident in what items were truly gluten free and how to prevent cross contamination. The cook said she wasn’t trying to poison me, such a weird thing to say and create an awkward situation. The cook also didn’t even know what items were marked gluten free on the menu and asked me? Very unsettling. The sangria was good but I did not end up getting any food.

Yes

Food was pretty good! I didn’t get sick. Was here with a group and everyone enjoyed their meal. I was hungry again a short while later, unfortunately.

They did a great job with my order and I didn’t get sick after! This is definitely a place to revisit.

I'm a sensitive celiac and this is one of my "safe places". Knowledgeable staff and many delicious items available.

The chef said all breakfast items are cooked in a dedicated kitchen space with clean skillets, utensils, toppings, etc. Glove change is required when handling gluten free items. Pancakes are cooked on the griddle, but there is a dedicated space that gluten items are never cooked on. Overall, I'm pleased with the handling, the food is delicious, and the coffee is smooth. I'm excited for a place to have gluten free breakfast. :)

Offers a variety of gluten free options. Food and drinks are always excellent. Patio is very nice and dog friendly.

I had pancakes!! First time in 4 years I had pancakes for breakfast dining out & they were so good I didn’t need syrup. A Carmel latte with coconut milk was such a treat. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the menu & suggested modifications to almost everything they offer.

I love DS overall but they recently ditched the GF pancakes indefinitely. Not sure why. I know a lot of people that would order them over the regular ones. We now have to find a new gf pancake restaurant. Good luck.
