I have severe celiac symptoms and cannot handle any cross contamination. I just want to start off by saying I will be a frequent here. I got the calamari rings, and the hot and honey wings. Exceeded all expectations.

They do not have a separate gluten free menu, but the items are clearly marked. They have a separate cook top and fryer, dedicated pots and pans, they take gluten free options very seriously. They also make sure all gluten free items are marked with a toothpick flag that actually says gluten free on it. That made my day!

All in all, this was the first restaurant in probably 10 years where I felt comfortable and not have to worry about the meal I was eating. The waitress was awesome. I can’t remember her name, but she was very friendly and thoughtful.

All in all, if you struggle like me, to find a place that you feel comfortable and confident that they will have the knowledge and the effort to make sure you can have a great night without worrying about food, this is your place. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

We go here frequently and I've never had a bad experience. They're very knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and have a dedicated fryer so I can get a burger and fries without issues. We ordered takeout and they took care to mark the gluten free meal externally, place it on top of the regular burger my husband ordered, and they even wrapped his meal in an extra plastic bag to limit cross contact. They are truly the best

I was so excited to try this place based on recommendations and it did not disappoint! I had potato skins and a burger and they were both great! The bun was amazing and didn’t fall apart! Everything was clearly marked GF when it came out and the waitress was knowledgeable about cross contamination. She told me there are separate fryers and prep areas for the GF food. The GF menu is pretty big and I can’t wait to go back again to try some of the other options!

I eat here weekly with my celiac family and we have never had any issues! They have A wide variety of gf options clearly marked on their menu! It’s so nice to be able to trust “pub food”. They have a separate fryer and prep area to avoid CC. Their French fries, burgers, nachos, quesadillas, and potato skins are some of our favorites. They also offer a chocolate cake for dessert. Great atmosphere!

I’m home visiting from college and went for the first time two weeks ago. Today will be my fifth time going since I’ve been home because the food is incredible and every server we have had has been knowledgeable. The first time we went we were told the owner is gluten free which made us feel a lot better. I have other allergies that I also need to worry about regarding cross contamination and the server made sure to talk with the kitchen staff who were both knowledgeable enough to recognize that I needed the wings cooked in a different way - and they were more than willing to do so. The menu is one of the largest I’ve seen at a restaurant that is not dedicated gluten free. I am fully confident in this restaurant and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with any allergies.

We ate here on a trip to Diggerland after seeing the high ratings on the app. SO GLAD WE DID! Food was excellent! My daughter was so happy with the amount of choices she had. Everyone GF and non-GF enjoyed their food. Separate fryer which always makes us happy so she can have fries!

Ate at Dooney’s today with a group of friends. Having Celiac, I always get stressed when we eat out. This restaurant is amazing for gluten free food. Our waitress, Natalie was very reassuring about how the gluten free food is prepared in a separate area from the other meals. I ordered a shrimp taco, which was delicious. Dooney’s has the best gluten free food! A majority of the menu is marked as being able to be made gluten free and they order buns, tortillas, and bread to substitute on sandwiches and burgers. All the gluten free food that comes out is marked with a toothpick that says “gluten free”.

My daughter has been craving “real French fries” since her diagnosis and Dooney’s had really good gluten free fries made in a dedicated fryer. They also had a lot of choices and have a whole section do they kitchen that is gluten free. The waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and had an answer to each of my daughters million questions! We felt very comfortable and safe eating there. I have sadly been glutened twice at Dooney’s, despite feeling “safe” with reading the good reviews. I usually order a grilled chicken sandwich and fries from their gf menu and specify that I have a severe gluten allergy. The first time that I was glutened, I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and thought it was a one time cross-contamination mistake (it turns out they gave me a normal bun). I was glutened again yesterday and will not be eating at dooneys again.

I just had Dooney’s with my Celiac friend. It was our first time (takeout) and we got burgers (Udi’s buns) and fries. I haven’t had old bay fries in years; they were delicious. And the brunch burger was fantastic. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We went on their busiest day of three year, March 17, and still had a great experience. Walked out of the house without thinking about food, and figured I'd eat when I got home later. To my great surprise, they have a dedicated frier, and a great GF menu. They understand cc, but if course have a disclaimer. I had a burger (I chose not to eat the gf bun), fries, shared wings, and nachos, and had no day-after issues. So pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to going back.
