Food is really good! Good gluten free options. The owner is celiac, and really nice. We’ve hade the paté and the pizza, absolutely no regret!
So good! I had GF garlic bread, such a treat and delicious, plenty of options ( i also had beet salad), its a beautiful place to eat with good service too!
Meilleur restaurant sans gluten que j’ai pu faire au Guatemala ! Et parmi les meilleurs que j’ai pu faire tout court ! Restaurant avec une joli terrasse dans le jardin, avec accueil très chaleureux de l’équipe et du chef ! Le chef est un Hawaïen cœliaque, installé au Guatemala depuis plus de 30 ans. Il produit l’ensemble de ses ingrédients dans sa propre ferme à proximité avec son équipe. Il est venu discuter avec nous à plusieurs reprises et me rassurer sur l’ensemble des plats sans gluten. J’y ai mangé 2 jours de suite tant c’était bon et safe ! J’ai pu y déguster une soupe de pomme de terre/lardons très bonne, une pizza excellente et le Meilleur burger sans gluglu ever ! Avec pain moelleux au fromage incroyable ! Il y a aussi de très bons desserts ! Allez-y au plus vite !
We loved it. The garden area is so relaxing. The gluten free pastas and pizzas are really great. The owner is gluten free so gets it. The pizzas are cooked separately.
They do not really understand cross contact but they will say they do if that’s all you ask. When I asked further questions it was revealed the gluten free pizza base is cooked in the same oven that they cook all their gluten bread in. They do not have a pizza pan or anything they could use to separate the base from the bottom of the oven. Really bummed after reading other reviews here, I opted not to eat here and keep myself safe. At least the waiters were open to answering my questions. But it is misleading to say they understand cross contact here.
La pizza está muy rica y la hicieron sin contaminarla con otros alimentos. Lo único que es un poco caro y la pizza no está muy grande.
They have gluten free Pasta, Pizza and Sandwiches! Apparently, the owner is celiac so the stuff is very knowledgable and everything is delicious! They also have a small shop where you can find gluten free products (though they are a little pricy). Came here also to get a gluten free sandwich to go for the airport! Recommended!
Loved this place. Not only does it have a wonderful garden but a nearly complete gluten free alternative to everything on the menu. I opted for the pizza and it was delicious. The friendly owner drifted from table to table which was a nice touch and it wasn't surprising to hear that he is also a coeliac! There is also a small bakery attached to the restaurant which sell a delicious bread roll and a mocha cake which i didn't try (but looked delicious). The staff were great and keen to help at every opportunity. A must visit for anyone in the area! A pleasant alternative for a coeliac in Central America instead of the tedious tortillas!
