Do not eat here. This place has gone down hill. It used to be 100% gf. Now there are “options” I ate half the sandwich before I got my ticket and realized there was no up charge for gluten free like the menu says. The waitress remade my sandwich. I’m afraid it’s too late.
This place used to be a 5 star for me, but slowly over time has become less so. While there are options, it doesn’t seem like as many (for example, the fries are no longer GF) and the staff is not as familiar with celiac. It’s becoming one of those places you cross your fingers and hope for the best.
So excited to find a GF restaurant in an airport of all places!!! The fryers are designated GF so I treated myself to some sweet potato fries!!! Also enjoyed the chicken pesto club, it was amazing and gone before I could take pictures!!!
The gf bun was way beyond regular Udi’s bread slices. I had a chicken pesto type sandwich and they have a dedicated fryer. Brenda served me and she was very knowledgeable and sweet. Delicious food and it was worth the hike from another terminal. It’s near B22. I’m celiac and I had zero side effects other than being very full afterwards.
Gets a 5-star for a genuine celiac friendly gluten free restaurant on an airport terminal. It’s a rarity to find one. They do a great job and have a wide variety of food that is fried and prepared separately. I’ve eaten there few times without getting sick. Also checked it with Nima sensor and got a smile :) I think they can improve upon the knowledge of the front staff taking orders. Otherwise it’s super nice. I’d say 9/10 times I can safely eat there without checking but I’m always afraid of cross contamination in a busy restaurant on an airport. Hard to get something better than that.
Plenty of gf options to choose from. (Wishing they had something like this in every concourse- had to take the train to a different terminal to find it.) I’m not super sensitive to cc so I couldn’t tell you if that was an issue. Waitress Vanessa was very nice!
Celiac friendly. You may need to coach staff a little bit. Had gf bun Hamburger and fries. No celiac symptoms after.
Fantastic airport find! Lots of GF choices & a dedicated fryer. Food tasted great;)
Ordered a gluten-free breakfast sandwich. Ate half and it was delicious but double checked with the server that it was GF. She seemed to snap awake, eyes widened, she immediately took the sandwich and they made a new one. She was very apologetic and comped the whole meal. Unfortunately she ended with “I’m so sorry, this happens all the time”. If you have to eat here triple check. This is going to be a miserable travel day. Uuugghhhhhh....
Many GF options which were good. Had a mean waiter working when we were there :/ and the place was empty, hopefully they can fix that.....
Outstanding option for gluten free dining in Denver Airport with friendly staff using Udis bread products.
I would give negative stars if I could. I specifically asked for gluten-free pizza and they were out so then I asked for a gluten-free cheeseburger and they fed me a regular one (I got 3 bites in and knew there was no way that bread could be udis) which I'm now going to be sick for days because of not to mention I'm flying all day. I went back to get the right Neil and then they forgot my avocado. Not only did they not care that they had made me sick they didn't feel sorry at all.
Got here right before the kitchen shut down for the night during one miserable and delayed ridden business trip. The bartender was very friendly, and once I expalined I have celiac, she displayed some great knowledge. I got a GF burger and fries. It was very good. They use an Udi's bun, so yes, I ended up using a knife and fork to finish the meal, as Udi's is Udi's. The server was very attentive. While I did not notice until after I order, but they also carry GF beers, including New Planet, and have a nice wine selection for a small bar and grill in an airport.
This place is nice for the celiac. I have never had problems and they have a dedicated fryer for the fries!
ordered gluten free burger because I indicated celiac. was served normal bun and subsequent severe reaction.
As other reviewers pointed out, this cafe is happy to modify many of their menu items, using Udi products. Any gf diner knows that Udi's bread is notorious for crumbling and not keeping its shape (personally, I don't care for Udi products); however, that being said, I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich here. It was made very well: It was large, had good flavor, and was filling. I would definitely recommend eating here.
Disappointed. Got the highly reviewed French dip and it was cold. GF bun literally crumbled like sand in my hand. Only ended up eating fries.
I went here based on reviews from prior patrons... big mistake. Not sure if it was the bartenders lack of understanding Celiac or if she was simply busy but I instantly reacted to my breakfast. Worst part was I ate minutes before boarding a plane so my reaction occurred during flight. I've never felt so horrible since cutting gluten, corn and dairy out after my diagnosis. I do not recommend this place.
Near Gate B24. Their French udis sandwich is to die for! And the place has a nice view overlooking the Rockies. Meal was only around $14 and very filling. Would be back for sure.
the food was great! gluten free french dip and fries i had....amazing!! very friendly staff and you can charge your phone. thank god for this app! everything can be made glutenfree amd they are very celiac friendly.
Gluten free French fries!!! Great options for gluten free
A celiac's oasis at the Denver airport! Almost everything can be made with Udi's GF bread or crust. They even have a dedicated fryer for GF fries. Worth the trek to find it if your gate isn't close by.
Totally worth the walk if you have time before your flight. Almost everything in the menu could be made GF, even the fries. The turkey, Brie, Apple sandwich was so good!
the Breaking Bad gluten free breakfast pizza was FANTASTIC!! It is worth the walk to find etai's!!
Very helpful, knowledgable and friendly GF service. Worth the extra walk regardless of where your gate is.
Good gluten free breakfast sandwich.
I found this place on accident while connecting on a flight. I was deboarding my plane and fantasizing about the delicious Kind bar I had in my backpack that I was about enjoy oh-so-much. Then, it was like a mirage on the horizon... it couldn't be real... gluten free, in the airport!? What?! To insure this was not a hallucination, I grabbed my phone and checked the GF app for reviews. My trusty Celiac friends online say "Go for it!". And we did, I got the classic burger & fries, my wife got a salad and both were great. They have drinks too. You can sit down or take away. Nice people, super Celiac friendly (and we rarely go out to eat being very sensitive to gluten). A bit pricey, especially the drinks, but you're at the airport so everything is pricey. Without drinks our two meals were $28 plus tip (we sat down at a table). Great food, good service and... You're at the airport!
I always go to terminal b first to get a burger and sweet potato fries before I take the train to my gate. I've never gotten sick and I love the food. It's basically the same menu as when it was Udi's cafe.
Outstanding place, airport or otherwise. Excellent egg sandwich for breakfast and turkey to go (with GF fries) for plane ride home. All on good GF bread. Lucky to have seen it, would actually choose United through Denver in the future just so I can be near B24.
This place is great - everything can be made gluten free and even when it is made regularly, I am told it is just as delicious. I only get a layover here about once a year, but I always take the walk over. Worth it even if you only have a short amount of time - they have a take out window. Highly recommend the BLTA with sweet potato fries!
Wow, gluten free paradise in terminal B! Here in April 2015, and Etai's is not listed on the airport signs. But it's definitely here and worth the trek.
Great GF friendly place! Perfect!
I am extremely sensitive and had no problems. Delicious!
Gate 24B. Extremely helpful cashier prevented me from making an ordering mistake. Airport map calls this "udi's". My daughter was very excited to be able to order a hamburger. Waited 15 minutes for our food, then asked about status. Turns out Staff left for lunch before making our order!!Money wasted. We had to RUN for the plane. Extremely unhappy.
Their name has been changed to etia's but they carry lots of udi's products as well as gluten free bread for most of their sandwiches and gluten free fries. An awesome airport food stop!
Now called Etai's. Good, fresh GF options. Quick knowledgeable service for how busy it was. Had a sandwich and salad. I'm sensitive and didn't get sick.
So disappointed... Thought it would be a gf restaurant but it's gf friendly. 6.30 for a breakfast sandwich BUT add $2 if you want it GF. Bought an udi's muffin and went to mcdonalds for an egg and bacon. P.s. They are changing the name to etais shortly.
Great Gluten Free food and several Gluten Free Beers to choose from!
Good all around! Even have gluten free beer!!!!
Lots of sandwiches. Really yummy.
Great food and gluten free in a airport!
I had an awesome lunch, the peanut chicken salad was delicious. Wasn't quite what I expected, but it was tasty and didn't make me sick!
Service was great! Food was awesome! Worth the trip out of my way to concourse B
It's very nice to be able to get such a great meal at an airport!
Love, love, love this place! I wish there were one in every airport.
My experience was terrible. I asked the lady at the front if any of the ingredients contain gluten(toppings, salad dressings , etc). She said sure we can add gluten. WHAT! I told her I have celiac and needed to be that there was no gluten or risk of contamination. She replied by saying she was not sure she could answer that question. I think udis should do a better job educating the people they hire. I choose to eat my tuna fish instead.
I was also VERY excited to find this popping up on the app. What a blessing! I was in terminal C but made the quick trip over to B for this between flights. It's pretty far down the terminal, but the moving sidewalks made it a quicker trip over there. They had several sandwiches and other items pre-packed in the "to go" counter, but you can also order freshly made and sit in the cafe. Note: You DO have to make a point to specify your order as gluten free. I was disappointed to be told there is still a GF surcharge. Wouldn't it be nice to not have that little surprise? Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. Still, this place is an oasis! I had the tomato basil sandwich with fries and thought it was delicious.
Basil chicken sammich is amazing! Fries seem to be regular frozen fries but still good, especially with some pepper on them. Very happy to find this place!
so exciting to be able to get a "real'" meal at an airport!
