Was disappointing with my wild mushroom pasta. It was very bland and dry. Had only a few pieces of chicken in it and when I asked for marinara it came cold. Not sure if the chef was throw off with the gluten free order.

The staff here was very kind and knowledgeable when it came to GF options. Our waitress had a list on the pad she wrote down orders on of all the dishes that were or could be made gluten-free. The pasta dishes and pizza can be made GF and there is a decent selection of naturally GF entrees as well. There were was an instance where our waitress was unsure on something and went back to the kitchen to double check the safety of it. Great taste, kind staff and good variety

I am a regular at this restaurant when it’s open in spring/summer/fall. They have gluten free pizza and can make most of their pasta dishes gluten free. They also have gluten free cheese cake which I always order for dessert. I have celiac disease and have never had an issue at this restaurant. I always tell the servers I have celiac disease so they can tell the kitchen staff to be mindful about cross contamination.

Amazing food and friendly service. I had the Whitefish special and it was amazing. If that alone wasn’t worth the visit, they have a GF caramel cheesecake that is to die for. I felt completely safe eating here.

We had an outstanding meal. Host created the menu and pointed out what we could have. Very few things couldn’t be made gluten-free. The whitefish tostada appetizer was so good. My wife had wild mushroom pesto pasta. Again amazing and no extra cost for GF pasta. I had whitefish dinner and loved it. For dessert had caramel cheesecake. Staff was excellent. Would eat every meal there during our stay but do need to try others. Will be back!

Gluten free pizza and pasta is on the menu; I had Pasta Mediterranean with tomato, spinach, feta, olive tapenade and artichoke hearts. It was outstanding. They also had a gluten free salted caramel cheesecake - do NOT turn this one down!

This is now the Copper Trout and is the BEST gf restaurant in Bayfield! It is worth the wait. Had the Bianca pizza - so good! My non GF husband said it was the best fish in Bayfield. The salted caramel cheesecake with almond crust was made by a bakery in Washburn that focuses on GF. So good!! This is a must stop!!

We got back late from a boat tour and stopped here really close to closing. The hostess/owner was turning people away because it was so close. I told her we'd come there because we heard she had gf options, and I asked if she knew of anywhere else we could eat. She put our name on the list anyway and when we got seated (technically at closing time - there were a good number still eating) I was served some of the best gf pizza I have had with awesome whitefish. And she checked with us several times to make sure everything was good. will definitely go back!

We had a really nice time here. We called ahead to inquire about their gf menu (pizza and pasta) and also put our name in for their call ahead priority seating - I would suggest doing the same. When we arrived, they got us in right away vs the 45 min. wait time given to the group who arrived just after us. The host and server were very happy to make us comfortable and answer any of our questions. My daughter had gf mac and cheese which she said was GREAT. I enjoyed my pasta and my non-gf hubby really liked his food too.
